BEEP! Oh really?

So I have come to the conclusion that the longer you have a computer the slower it goes over time. It makesit seem like you need a new one every two years or something ridiculous.

First off, I have no idea what is making mine act up. I have a laptop and there is an issue when I open the internet. Yeah it could be a virus or I might have done something. I have no idea. Anywho, I will open a new window and it will come up and will say its connecting. The screen will be white with the blue IE band along the top. Then I notice I can't click on anything and the page wont load. I will click 'start' for the computer settings and if I click maybe around 5 times there will be a beep and the computer will freeze. I have restarted the computer soo many times just to get some time to check messages. I've restarted it at least 6 times when I got home at school. Everytime it loaded it would freeze. I got this laptop for my birthday awhile ago and its in good condition but acts like its years old.

So then, I went on my settings to look at what is running in the background when I start my computer. Things I dont really need runs making it slower to start up. I got rid of some but now I must have messed things up. When I turn the volume up it wont show the bar on the screen to show how loud it is. Then my mouse pad scroll bar won't work. On my laptop..if you run your finger down the right side of the pad it acts as the scroll ball in the middle of a mouse. It throws me off not working that now I have to use the arrow keys to scroll.

My mom is taking it to work and have their guy look at it and see if he can fix it up and make it run faster. Its frustrating because the computer hardly works long enough for me to uninstall things and make a list of stuff and clean files up for the guy. Computers are just..ugh. I am not downloading anything after I get it fixed up. Only will if its on a disk.

 • Comment on the whole "beep" thing- I have the same thing on my computer. It beeps because it is telling you it froze, if you wait a few minutes it will go back to working.

I hate my computer too... It is not even 2 years old and it wont charge anymore!! It is so annoying, and Dell wont help me because my warranty expired.
