• I'm pretty sure you're not going to die from this...

Can't you just draw things or print pictures? I dont know what you are doing. When I was younger I am pretty sure there was no gimp. I am also sure teachers wont make you use an art program unless it was an art class (in which case computers at school would have the program).

Just try and work around not using gimp until you figure something out. I've never had to use an art program for anything other than an actual art class..

 • I don't know much about GIMP, but if you look through the GIMP program folder you might find a folder called Brushes. If there is a brushes folder, copy and paste the brushes from your CD into that folder.

As for the fonts, I assume they have to be installed on your computer to show up in GIMP. If you do a search you should be able to find a Fonts folder in your computer somewhere (if you're using vista I think it's C:/Windows/Fonts), then all you need to do is copy and paste the fonts from the CD into that folder. :)

 • Try doing file>>preferences on the gimp thing with the actual tools. Then you can look through and add the brushes/fonts.

 • ive tried both of those ways. but in mi gimp file there is no folder that says brushes.. :?: i find it rather confusing coz i downloaded the same thing, from the same site, onto mi dads computer and everything worked fine. :?
