I just something that i hope never to sere again. A friend showed me a link.. Its about dogs getting Skinned ALIVE. I wont post the link because it may be to graphic. but it makes me very angry tothink people would actually do this. Persionally dont think their humans at All :evil:

That's sick. Seriously. Who would do something like that? I personally think that people who abuse animals should have the same thing done to them that they did to the animal.

I agree. That makes me really mad. Just thinking about it I'm gonna beat up my keyboard. Honestly. To torture an inocent animal like that? Uggghhh. :evil:

Cows throats are cut open and skinned while they are alive, I haven't seen anything about cows on here. You can't always believe what you see on the internet. In other countries, some people eat dog, that's just thier way of living.

yea but those cows arent hurt one bit. Theyre humanely uthenized. And that poor dog was alive. And i seriously doubt the people doing it were doing it to eat. ESPECIALLY recording it. Animals.

I've seen the video... long ago. it is both for meat and for the pelt. And as pandalove mentioned, why are you criticizing peoples' cultures? You eat cow, pig, chicken. the latter two of three are not slaughtered anywhere near humanely, so unless you are going to give up meat, you have no right to complain or vent about diets of horse, dog, cat, turtle, or anything else that may tickle your fancy. And the recording may not have been done by the people who were skinning the dog anyway. There are two sides to every story.

As for cows being euthanized humanely, that's not true. They get their throats slit open while hanging by one foot from the ceiling, perfectly alive. Is that humane to you? Chickens are thrown into scalding water to get rid of their feathers. Is that humane?

I don't want to be a hypicrate by saying it's terrible that happens to dogs. I think this is terrible this happens to dogs, I was looking up examples for "zombie/dead" dogs and I happend upon a picture of a golden-brown cooked dog hanging from the ceiling. It was extreamly sad and gross. But I don't think people feel the same when they see a dead cow in the same position. Has anyone even ever looked a calf in it's beutiful big brown eyes and had in snuggle up to you and lick you with it's big huge tounge? Cows may seem "dumb" because of the way they seem to have dull faces, but there animals that have the capacity to love and care for also. Still no one thinks of that when they bite into a burger. I gess it's the same when people eat dogs in other countries. I have no right to preach to anyone. I love all animals. I also love how some of them taste. We just think it's odd to eat cats and dogs because they live amoung our house holds. Would you feel differntly if you had a calf as a pet? I digress.

I'm okay with other people's cultures. Eating dog may be just as normal as eating cow is here. What I don't think is right is torturing them. If your gonna kill a dog, or a cow, or any animal, it should be done quickly and should not be painful. Why would you go about it any other way? Skinning dogs (or cows) alive, is just plain cruel, no matter why it's being done.

To torture any animal is totally cruel. And not just the ones that live in our household. If an animal has to be killed, it should be done painlessly.

Sorry :? I feel bad for all animals Not just dogs. It shouldnt be done to any animals. Ive Been a veegan for almost 7 years now after seeing what happens to cows. and other animals. And i have a friend (Foreign exchange student) tould me hes seen aniamls Get skinned alive. he says some of the furs you see on coats and stuff that come from china could be infact some of those animals. it just well covered up by the place thats doing it. Im not sure if thats true or not. But its terrible that it could even be true...

I heard from one of my teachers that the reason why they hang cows upside down and slit their throats is because as the blood leaves their bodies, it makes the meat taste better or something. Something about that gives the meat extra flavor and thats why they do it.. Which I'm not sure if thats true or not, its just what I heard from a smart person. ((The only teacher of mine who I respect and think is smart)) lol

I don't get why poeple would want to wear fur. I understand that a long time ago people had to to stay warm, but that isn't true anymore. It just doesn't seem very fashionable to me to wear a dead animal.

Thier blood rushes to thier head, just like us, so it gets all the blood out.

The only way I ever wear fur is when my cats get it all over me. They shed like crazy. lol
