another attempt at colouring mi lineart. :p crit?

ok, so random drawing. im not positive what i was looking to draw here, i think i was going to draw a wolf without a ref but i guess i got a little derailed with that idea and i ended up with this: <img src="http://i40.tinypic.com/5o5un9.jpg"; alt="http://i40.tinypic.com/5o5un9.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> any crit, comments, etc would be appriciated. ps. i didnt draw the kanji, i just thought it made it look neat.

im not too good at colouring critique.. XD but how about if you try blending the shadows a little more? & i love the lineart!

I think that you could use more blending of the colors. And also-- When you make a lineart, the color doesn't have to stay in the lines completely. Afterwards, blend it into the other colors so it doesn't look like a paintbucket fill.

The lineart is beautiful. ^.^

thank you mondy. but about the not needing to stay in the lines completly and then blending them..do you mean adding a backround colour and blending the edges?

Well, like this. Before - I colored just inside the lines, not outside. <img src="http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt313/MondyFlax/PinkPurpleDog.png"; alt="http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt313/MondyFlax/PinkPurpleDog.png"; class="bb-image" /> After - I colored inside / outside / over the lines and blended it. <img src="http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt313/MondyFlax/PinkPurpleDog2.png"; alt="http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt313/MondyFlax/PinkPurpleDog2.png"; class="bb-image" /> See the difference?
