<span style="font-size:75">o.o well. <br><br><span style="color:blue">Alex:</span><br><br>Well i didnt know Alex that well since i was only like.. 6-7 ish when we put him down. All i know is that he was my first dog, and my first real best friend. whenever i was sad i could go and sit in his kennel with him and talk to him. He knew how to do the trick "shake" and i would always have fun playing with him. He wasnt allowed to be pet when he was eating since he has a little bit of food aggression(dunno why) but he wouldnt bite a fly. I dont really know much more. ![:\](/forum/resources/emoji/confused.png ":\")

We got him in 1999, and he lived to be 8 years old(till 2007)<br>We got him as a puppy, like most pups xD he was one chubby little fur ball. He loved to play with Alex, and he didnt have food aggression like Alex though. He didnt really know any tricks. (i think he was too stubborn to know any xD) But.. he was one of the best dogs in the world. He LOVED to go hunting and would whine and bark if my dad left him at home while he went hunting. He also went with on many trips to ice fish(:\ never got a chance to go in a boat fishing o_o; though he might try to go swimming or eat the fish if he did..) But his life was cut short. A few years ago his leg gave out on him when he jumped down from my dad's tailgate of the truck. My dad took him to the vet but they didnt find anything wrong with his leg in the x-rays, so they said he probably landed wrong. After that he had always walked funny and kinda swung his leg out when he walked. As the years went on it progressivly got worse. He started to limp during the summer of '07. I was concerned and my dad began to be concerned too so we brought him to the vet. they said nothin was wrong so we just forgot about it. Well, in sept. '07 he started to not be able to keep his head very high above the water while swimming, and he was limping more and more. Eventually his leg swelled up. I got a sickening feeling in my stomach but i didnt know what was wrong. We took him to the vet because his leg became sensitive. They said that we should wrap it in a warm washcloth/towel. We did.. and it still got worse. It came down to were his leg started oozing up by the armpit. x.x and he started to not want to walk on it. he stayed inside on his bed his last 5-ish days. we tried getting him to go to the bathroom in the front yard but he was trained a little too well ;-; he would slowely make his way to the backyard and i would have to encourage him to come back up to the front yard to come backinside through tthe front door. x.x -sigh- well.. he finally started to show signs of sever pain. he had started to shake so we took him to the vet... and thats were the horrid news came. My dad usually hunts on these one peoples land so we were going to their house to ask if we could hunt on their land. And my dad noticed that the female dog looked like she just had pups, so he asked the owners. They said she had had some pups and asked if we wanted to see them. We looked at them, and my mom came up that day to look at them. We ended up picking one out that day. I couldnt pick it out, so my mom let me name it. ;] We took him to obedience class then had him go to hunting class. He is one stubborn dog >.< then, about a year or two ago, he musta gotten in a fight with the barbed wire fence, cause he got sliced open when they were hunting once.
