Dances, projects, and more, OH MY!

Ebony's not too impressed right now... read at your own risk of losing your sanity.<br><br><br>5. Semi Formal<br><br>I hate dances. I hate them with a burning, fiery passion. I don't dance. <br><br>So, when my BFF somehow convinces me to go to semi formal, I'm not a happy camper.<br><br>WHY in the world, you may ask?<br><br>Not only so I have to dance, but I have to wear a dress. Blech. I feel much more comfortable in dress pants and a shirt, thank you very much. <br><br>Not only that, but Jackson and the other guys aren't going... I'd rather suffer in a dress with all my male and female friends, than just my BFF and one other friend.<br><br>At least I don't have a date, then I can leave early "sick".<br><br><br>4. Projects<br><br>Dammit, has the world gone mad? 3/4 of my classes have projects on the go right now; Science, Religion and English.<br><br>Normally this is no problem, but I am seriously lacking motivation right now.<br><br><br>3. Feeder school tours<br><br>They may be cancelled! OH NOES!<br><br>Feeder school tour are 3 days where we get to miss school to play for the schools that send student to my highschool in a little private concert.<br><br>They rock, we get to play the most awesome songs (Cartoon Symphonies, anyone?!).<br><br>Right now, we have 11 people signed up: 4 grade 11s, and 7 grade nines, myself included. 3 clarinets, 3 altos, a bass clarinet, an oboe, 2 guitars, and a tenor sax (ME!).<br><br>Balance off much? (Which is why it may be cancelled) <br><br><br>2. Uh oh...<br><br>The girl I absolutely cannot stand may be riding 2x a week with me.<br><br>She's obnoxious, not very friendly, and to tell the truth, isn't that great of a rider.<br><br>And to make it worse, she loves to ride Ricky. MY beloved show pony, who I have worked my butt off for to make him the pony he is today.<br><br>If she rides with me on Mondays as well as Wednesdays, I will scream.<br><br><br>1. Of Mice and Men<br><br>WHY must we read that book? I didn't like it in the least, it's not my style of book.<br><br>And now we have to analyse it like we are scientists... I don't care what "Live of the fatta the lan' " means. I don't.<br><br>No one talks like that anymore. Please don't make me analyse their vocabulary anymore, k?
