Camera question...

<span style="font-size:75">Well, I've really been getting into photography, but all I have is a<br>cheap-o digital Polaroid camera xD<br><br>I was looking at this <a href="http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/images1/d50.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Nikon D50</a>. A lot of people on dA seem to use it?<br>But I'm not really sure what I'm looking for either xD<br>I don't want anything -too- pricy, but obviously if I want something good, <br>I'm going to have to pay some $$$$.<br><br>If you have any suggestions -please- let me know? I'm dieing to get a good,<br>professional camera.</span>

    I think it was around 600$, you can get it from a Camera store or like... I think Best Buy sells it. My dad says its probably cheaper than that now, we've had it for a couple years now.<br><br><br>Its very easy to use, amazing focus, takes quick/sharp images. It takes 'action' pictures well, too. Of course they still show up blurry sometimes, but not nearly as often. Its not incredibly huge, either. I have a couple lenses for it, and those range from about $200-1k, depending on what type. Im still wanting a couple more... :o <br><br>You can adjust everything on it. I have yet to go to a class to learn everything about it xD I havent hardly touched any of its features, and Im amazed with the results.

    I had a D50 once lol. and a D40x (SLR) <==they both were stolen Dx<br>but I much prefer canon lol<br>A fantastic camera (if a bit pricey...save up. xD) is the Canon EOS 50D<br>I am in love with my EOS 50D lol. <br>if you're serious about photography, it is most definitely worth the pricetag (anywhere from £750-£1750 depending on what accessories and features your purchasing)<br>If you're just beginning, you might not want an SLR, as they are for more experienced photographers (who also have money to buy lenses lol) but yeah. I recommend CANON! *thumbsup*

    :D<br><br>I have a Canon Rebel EOS.<br>Its great. I got it a few years back for about 850, so I have a feeling it'd be a lot cheaper now.<br>You know, you can really help your photos by switching the lens and playing around with the focus/f-stop. So you really dont have to go find something extremely expensive :D
