<img src="http://i43.tinypic.com/2wd5bn9.jpg"; alt="http://i43.tinypic.com/2wd5bn9.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

since no one is ordering lineart i decided i was bored and wanted to draw. -shrugs- whatcha all think?

oh, and the edges are messed up coz i had to make it transparent 5 million times coz the computer wouldnt save the transparency, i finally got it to save though.

also since people keep telling me that i stole/copied, here is the original scanned version (i -only- flipped it). none of them have mi sig coz it was going to either get cut out or coloured over. everyone happy that mi already crappy mood was completly moved to extremely crappy and really mad?
<img src="http://i43.tinypic.com/29o36ub.jpg"; alt="http://i43.tinypic.com/29o36ub.jpg"; class="bb-image" />

 • tbh I think it looks rather like you cropped it so that signatures by the original author, who is not you, is unviewable... sorry

 • :( i just wanted it as just the wolf with a transparent background. i drew it 2 days ago and i didnt put mi sig on the actual wolf because it was going to get covered when i got it coloured, or coloured it miself. i most definitly drew the wolf, yes i did use a ref pic from one that someone else drew but i only used it for the form..im hurt.

 • It's better if you don't copy art from other artists.
 • i didnt copy..i love how people are going to tell me that i copied and that i didnt draw it when they have no proof.

I think it's great. And whether you copied or not is up to you and your conscience to deal with. Unless you are trying to sell it and/or someone can PROVE you didn't do it, it is TOTALLY unfair for people to comment on how you copied.

Keep it up - it's way better than my drawings (I can only do horsies really... :) )

 • freedom of speech, mate, that's all I'll say. I'd rather not be glared at, thanks, virtually or otherwise.

Its rather like a game of cheat- I say cheat, and either you fold or you keep up the facade, if it is a facade. But either way, its your conscience that'll get you, if it is in fact, stolen.
Apologies, it may seem harsh, but I am rather blunt. If I see someone who I believe is stealing art, I call it. It is mostly because the tail has been chopped off, which is common with art thieves, and also because the dog in your lineart commish thread looks nothing like the wolf that you are claiming to have drawn.
Don't be hurt, take pride in the fact that I think its good enough to have been stolen.
And if you're referring to a lineart that someone else drew and you copied (yes it is copying to do that) it, it is still pretty much stealing. Try looking at photographs as refs.

 • :roll: Nobody knows if anybody drew it or not, accusing[sp] isn't the way to go.

So I'm just ignoring the arguement,

I think that the wolf is pretty darn good. Maybe if you put on the origonal copy and have someone color / outline it for you, then it'd look spectacular. Keep it up. :wink:

-Mondy

 • I'm not saying you stole it, because that would be quite unfair to you, (innocent until proven guilty) but for future reference:
When you see someone stealing artwork, please don't bash them in public. Report it to an Op so we can investigate and take the proper measures.

Harassing another player is also against the rules on VP and carries the same penalty as art theft.

anyway..
The wolf is looking good. The only critique i would have is to work on your lines when making the line art. (Making it darker, not as sketchy.. etc..)
 • thank you everyone, and semi sorry to you rose. also, the tail got cut off when i was drawing it because i made it too big. :? and the ref pic that someone else drew was only so that i could see the anatomy of the usual persons paw size and placement and if thats copying then i apoligize. i used multiple ref pics for those kind of details.

 • I wasn't accusing you of not actually drawing it, I was just saying it's better if you don't copy existing art. It's better if you use parts of photographs or real life to draw from. If you use existing art as a ref, then their mistakes get transferred to your drawing, and you may never know what mistakes you're making.

It's not bad, practice more anatomy and you'll get better.

...And loose the attitude, it just seemed suspicious, that's all :roll:
