• o.0 I dont think I have seen any art from you..that I can remember.

Just like some of the others will say, tablets don't make your art automatically amazing. I have seen darn good traditional stuff and things done with a mouse.

A tablet won't teach you things like shading, balance, ect.

I wish I had held off getting one until I improved on traditional things. I have learned more after taking art classes. I definitely could have held off getting a tablet 2 yrs. ago.

I am just saying you shouldn't waste the money because you think it will make art better. The art gets better with practice, not fancy equipment.

:D

 • i don't have a mouse though, i've tried it just on my mac and its hardd !
aha,, and knowing me i have no cash D;

but just some questions, what program do you use xD

 • I technically dont have a mouse either since I am on a laptop. I am just saying you should try traditional before digital. Evlon does some really nice ones.

And..my tablet went to waste the first few months. I am not an art fanatic and I hardly do regular stuff that isn't doodles. I mainly started so I could draw characters and things that I have in my head. I realized its not my thing with drawing. xD I am going to take photography.

Um I use adobe photoshop elements 3.0. Actually..when I want straight lines I use gimp (haven't used that in like forver. I have been sketchy quick things). And with gimp my tablet doesnt work. I can easily use my mouse pad to make lines with the path tool. :D

 • aha, i have gimp and i know nothing
about it, but gee. that path tool is
confusing ! aha ! xD

 • Wacom Bamboo or Wacom Bamboo Fun for just some "fun;" not for professional stuff really. I have a Bamboo Fun and LOVE it. They are pretty cheap, too.

:D

 • I use a Wacom Bamboo. Their nice tablets and fairly inexpensive (about $70
USD) . But like Tarnish said please do traditional artwork so you can learn
how to shade and make sure proportions are correct. I didn't get my tablet
until about 7 months or so ago, so I had a good amount of practice
traditionally first. My traditional stuff is still way better than digital.
 • xD thanks,

i totally just remembered my mom has a tablet pc. Soooo xD
i'm just gonna try traditional and once and awhile tablet xD
