Okay. I loveeee the Harry Potter books. So this is about any of them.. Did anyone notice in the 7th book, Ron said 'Voldemort' at his house when he was teasing Hermione?

[slight spoiler warning] omg I just finished watching the 5th movie for the first time. I kept forgetting the 5th one was out. lmao. Silly me. I thought Daniel looked better in the 4th movie because he had long hair. ^-^ But I didn't notice the Ron thing because if I did I forgot or something. I read it the day after it came out. I was carefull online trying not to run into spoilers. It was horrible! xD The only one I did find out was about his owl. OOh dreamy should put Spoiler Warning in the title or first post.

But I didn't catch it when Ron said Voldemort. Huh. I plan on rereading the books when I get the chance.

Yay! A HP thread. Tarnish; I agree with you about the better looking Daniel with long hair, although I like it better again in the third movie ... which is currently my favourite. Ive been going on IMDB every week or so and checking out the new photos and stuff of the 6th movie. I am so peeved that they moved it from the same date Twilight came out, until July. I cant wait till then!

Oh well. If this thread sticks around. I hope no one who hasnt read them or watched the movie reads it, cause Ill probably throw in a lot of spoilers. Lmao. :twisted:

haha xD They had the same director for the 1st and 2nd movies but switched when they did the third..correct? I could tell the style changed and I like the first two movies. Its seems like..more mystical and fantasy-like? For example you see them in robes the majority of the time. In the third movie you see them in regular clothes. Idk. I guess I just like the first of all movies. xD

I also liked the first Dumbledore more. The new one seems.. Really harsh in everything he does.

Harry Potter!!! <3<3<3 I read the 7th book the day after it came out and haven't read a Harry Potter book since. It's too weird, reading one now that the end is final xD I remember when I was younger, and every time a new book was released all the kids at school would get together and discuss all the new information for months afterwards. I miss being able to read the books over and over again and forming theories about what would happen in the next one

Dreamy: Totally agree about the Dumbledores, new one is definitely rougher. I don't think any of the movies really do justice to the books, but that would be an amazing feat to pull off, so all things considered I think they're pretty good. I'm looking forward to the next one, if they ever get around to releasing it xD

Wow. Fellow HP fans. Lmao. Me and my sister always race eachother to read the books. It only takes us about 5 hours on the bigger books. Lol. I have to say I like the first two better as well. I didn't even know they changed directos. Lol. Also agree with the dumbledore thing. Definitely more harsh. I have re-read the books like 10 times each and never caught that ron said voldemorts name. Lmfao. Will post more later.

I only noticed it the last time I read the book, and I've read the books soooo many times. Well over 15 each. Probably 20 or so for the 5th. What's the order of your favorites? 1. Order of the Pheonix 2. Prisoner of Azkaban 3. Chamber of Secrets 4. Sorcerer's Stone 5. Deathly Hallows 6. Half-Blood Prince 7. Goblet of Fire Well.. The first Dumbledore died, Floo. xD So it wasn't really optional.

Hmm.... Idk about oder but I definitely like the last book the most. I am excited about all the movies. I think the movie goblet of fire was kinda stupid since it was the longest book and the shortest movie. It was still kinda cool though just because its sad that cedric dies. I don't really remember how many times I have read them. Lol. I just guessed. I keep rereading the HP books and twilight books because other books just do not compare. I had to stop reading them for a little while though because I could look at the book cover and remember the whole thing. Lol

Another thought I had.. In Goblet of Fire, when Voldemort's and Harry's wands connect, the order of people coming out is "supposed" to be in order of death, from most recent to.. not recent, right? Which would be Cedric, Frank, Bertha, Lily, James. But James comes out before Lily..?

James dies before Lily. He attempts to hold Mouldy-Volde off while Lily takes Potter-the-Rotter upstairs ... Then he kills her, and her love for Harry backfires and kills Volde. *edit* .. nevermind the above section. I just re-read what you wrote and it clicked in my head what you were saying ... lol. movie producers/writers suck at taking things from the book (in my opinion) .. They seem to miss out on all the small, apparent unimportant things, ... oh .. but how wrong they are! :evil: Sorry. Im rereading the books, up to the third at the moment, where Sirius attacks the Fat Lady ... I love Peeves poems and songs. Book 2; Oh Potter, you rotter, oh what have you done, You're killing off students, you think it's good fun ... Book 7; We did it, we bashed them, wee Potter's the One, And Voldy's gone mouldy, so now let's have fun! Eh. I love the 7th book the best. But Im really hoping that the 6th and 7th movies, Harry isnt angry like he was in the 5th. The movie annoyed me because he was turning on his friends. Although the best part of the 5th movie is when Hermione tells Ron and Harry how Cho must be feeling. "One person cant feel all that .. they'd explode" (ron) "Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon (or something like that)" (hermione) ... Its good that they laugh. XD Okay. Ima go train now. Lmao.

I should be stabbed. ;; haha. joking. 8) already up to the 4th book. and sadly, just finished watching the 3rd HP movie, and just begun the 4th. 8) Also. has anyone noticed that on the back of the first 4 movies. Harry, is in some way, flying? 1st; on his broomstick in the stadium. 2nd; in the car with ron. 3rd; on buckbeak. 4th; on his firebolt with the horntail behind him. Although the 5th sucks. cause its the death eaters against the little munchkins of hoggywarts ... would have been cool if he was flying a thestral ...

Oh well. Only just noticed it. haha.
