I really don't see a point to why most people hold contests on VP.<br><br>I'd say at least 75% of banner/layout/manip contests I've entered just don't ever end. Why have a contest if you're not going to end it? I feel like the people of VP just don't care about the time artists put into their work. It's really not easy to make several different things for several different contests and make sure their tweaked to where they look great. <br><br>Does this irritate anyone else?

    People hold contests to see different oppinions of one thing and off course the best ones the winner.. I do agree with the not ending part

    I agree completely.. Honestly, if someone is good at something, they can have it in General Services.. I feel like my art isn't good enough when I don't win.. >_> not a good feeling.. thats why I barely enter contests.. :oops: But I agree.
    i know you're supposed to cherish life , but this crap isn't paradise .

    You might as well enter, then. Most contests just don't end so no winner is ever chosen. <br><br>I'm personally thinking of not doing any more contests for a very very long time.

    Same here.. unless I am -incredibly- bored. but then again, if your bored you could always do something for yourself or a friend instead of wasting your time if you aren't gonna win.... and I don't do contests a lot anymore anyways. :roll:
