Halloween Breeds

When you first came out with Halloween breeds, I thought it was a cool idea. I mean, I don't like Halloween, but I thought it showed that Virtual Pups had creativity and so I liked the idea. However, when Christmas came around, there weren't any Christmas breeds. There weren't any Thanksgiving breeds before Christmas, either. After Christmas, there weren't any New Year's or Easter or St. Patricks Day breeds. Why are there only Halloween breeds? It isn't fair to some players that don't like Halloween or that want Christmas breeds, etc. I think that Orbis/VP should create some other holiday breeds besides just the Halloween breeds.

Well, not everyone celebrates christmas, or easter. So, you would have alot more holidays to add, if you did it for every celebration of every religion. Besides, halloween is one of those holidays everyone celebrates, so there wouldn't be a big problem out of it. Plus, I think its great Nef gave us any holiday breeds at all.

Like I stated before, I think it's a good idea to add holloween breeds, because it is creative. But as with Christmas, not everyone celebrates halloween, either. Many people can dispute that Christmas is angelic and that halloween is satanic. I am merely suggesting that other holiday breeds should be brought in as well, even if it is only one or two new breeds.

You shouldn't expect it right away. After halloween breeds there was talk of Christmas breeds, even a post asking for ideas, it still might happen, but right now vp needs to focus on improving things, not adding more breeds.

I love the halloween breeds since I was born on Halloween.

But anyways, so many people whined and complained over Nef making those breeds..why would she want to do it again? She took time out of her schedule to have a trivia game to give out Halloween breeds to a whole bunch of orbis games. People were just downright rude over her gift. If I was her I woulnd't see me wanting to do it again. I can't really say how she feels but that is how I would feel. And like wheaty said, I would rather have game improvements at the moment than more breeds, even if they are exciting xD

Exactly, Tarn. And I can't stand that people would take something she tried to do as a nice present and spit all over it, and whine and moan and complain about how Halloween is so bad, and this and that and the other. You think Halloween is bad? Do your research on the origins of the holiday, and then come back and tell me that you hate a holiday that was born out of respect for our deceased family members. You don't like Halloween breeds? Don't buy them, don't breed them, don't even look at them.

I think that because there are so many creatures with Halloween, they thought it would be fun and neat (and it is) to make breeds of those. All there is with Christmas is like...presents. Thanksgiving...turkeys. St. Patrick's Day...leprechauns. But with Halloween there's werewolves, vampires, zombies, mummies, and a bunch of other neat monsters.

I am sorry, I didn't mean to start an argument. I was just curious as to why halloween breeds was brought in and no other holiday breeds were. And to Aliens... there is more than just one thing associated with each of the holidays you listed. Christmas for example, there are Angels, Elves, Snow, Santa, Reindeer, Mistletoe, etc... Again, I am not trying to start an argument, but there are more than one thing related to holidays than just presents or turkey. And I am all for updating the Orbis games, especially VP, since I am a part of it. Again, I'm sorry for starting this argument, it was not my intentions.

It's not your fault Rose Petals - I have a sneaking suspicion most of us have been about ready to pop on this subject anyway XD You have posted a vent question than made us all vent! The problem is that there has been a bit of a problem with people being fanatically anti-Halloween breed, and these people have had a nasty habit of (at least in my case) messaging in game and telling us how horrible they are and should be taken off the game for religious reasons, and while I make no comment on my personal religious beliefs, I personally have a huge problem with people shoving their own religious convictions down my throat, just as I would likely be at least mildly offended were they to shove anything else down my throat, like a boot XD

I like the idea of other breeds being introduced for other occasions but as stated vp needs clearing up first

Plus there are many different religions on here and some may be offended by the idea.
