Pointless vent, but anyway. In my spare time I like to fix broken
iPods and work on computers. So I got a third generation classic iPod off of
ebay to work on. (Go 6 year old iPods!) I got it a while ago and all it needed
was a new battery. So I replaced it and it was working like a champ.. except
for one small detail.

That small detail was that the screen was very light and kind of hard to see.
So I just took it apart again thinking "Oh, the face plate's just really
scratched up and it's making the screen cloudy, I'll just replace that". right...

Come to find out, the entire ribbon cable for the screen is busted, so I get to
buy a new one. Good thing I have the other old iPod I fixed to keep me
going..
