Refridgerated wax worms?

edited February 2009 in General Discussion
How long does it take refridgerated wax worms to start moving again?
My Gecko wont eat them unless they move.
All I've been feeding him this whole time is small crickets and he's a little skinny.
So now I want to give him something fattening.

 • I just hold them in my hands for a few minutes. Warms 'em up quick enough.

 • Alrighty, thanks x3.
 • Also if you want you can throw one in and take a straw or something small and kinda move it and once the gecko locks in on it they will attack. Atleast it works with my geckos. lol

That works xD, they're not dead, they've just been in the fridge forever and are really deep in that weird hibernate state or whatever xD.
 • Where to get wax worms? xD My pet stores and fish tackle markets don't have any. >.> And my frog is tiny. I had given him wax worms, my pet store gave them with adoption, but, they closed and I ran out. >.<

 • My bait shop sells them by the name of Moth Grubs.
So you want to ask them what kind of other worms they have besides night crawlers and red worms. ^^
