What breed is my dog?

Heh. I really love these posts, but honestly, I haven't a clue what my angel-face is! Some info about her:: [ . ] She turns 7 in May(made up birthday) [ . ] We adopted her in November of 'o7(I think? XD) [ . ] On her rescue page she was advertised as a terrier mix. [ . ] She weighs about 35-40 pounds. [ . ] She comes up to mid-thigh, her withers are slightly higher that the knee(of a 5'7-5'8 female, if that helps. o.O) [ . ] Uh..? Some pictures! These are mostly of her at a park about 30 minutes from us. She liked the water because a lot of boats were passing though and she liked the waves.

She looks like my grandma's dog xD (I think I told you before?) and I believe they labeled him as 'Terrier' :roll: I think thats what most mixes are called these days xD But, it's probably true. hehe, nice smiley's

I know o.o but they just group terrier into one big group. My friends dogs is a 'terrier mix' as well >.< I'd like to know -what- terrier, but... they like to just call them terrier mixes xD

I know! Like at shelters and they'll be like "Lucy is a scent hound..." And I'll be like.. WHAT KIND? Basset, bloodhound, coonhound? XD It's so annoying!

You are very beautiful if that was you in the orange jacket. No makeup needed on your face! xD That made my day. She lookes like a terrier. I wouldn't doubt that. Wire Terrier maybe? (it's a common backyard breed.)

well, My mom works as a vet and my grandma works as a breed specialest so, they were guessing its a terrier cause she has the short body, kind of small and the look, well, she likes water so she was guessing she had some lab in her genes, the last picture looks like her grandma or grandpa was a lab, she looks kind of wire-haired while kind of long, an alustralion silky terrier? so shes probably a good mix of about 3-7 breeds

i wouldnt doubt that she/he is a mix of that but, it would be within her great great great grandparents The hieght and weight just does not go XD

We were actually really surprised when she got in the water. She normally is really shy with it. She hates rain, puddles, baths, etc. But she ran into the water here, she liked the waves.

I dunno though Very cute though

Hm. I dunno. The only trace of a schnauzer's color she's got are random black hairs.. Seems kind of unlikely to me. Because even if she got the build of a schnauzer, the picardy's appearance isn't incredibly strong.

He's got more black on his back than Bella has though :P Obviously an otterhound is too big, but the coat pattern fits

Um my guess is jack russle border terrier griffon briard Affenpinscher Australian Terrier maybe a little fox terrier It's truely imposible to know by guessing becuase of so many chosses... if you really want to know I belive there is this test out were the can find out by drawling blood and takeing dna samples...

I love otterhounds.

So pretty, no? Those are all really tiny dogs though, excluding the briard of course. And she would significantly smaller or larger if she were any of those breeds, IMO. Yeah, there is but it's an average of a hundred dollars. I'd rather put that money towards vet bills. Bella's getting up there slowly but surely. Thanks for all your suggestions, guys!
