Okay, see I have a friend who always copies EVERYTHING I do. Don't get me wrong, I dont care if you want to be like me, whatever. But you cant be me, I dont care how hard you try.<br><br>This started about...4 years ago? I wanted to be a skater, so I got a board, learned some tricks. She got jealous and was like ''Well, my mom is getting me a skateboard tomorrow.'' And whined to me everyday when her mom didnt get her one. Trying to make me jealous? Yes, she was. But, I dont get jealous. She still doesnt have that skateboard...<br><br>I decided to start listening to rock and metal again. When I was little, I mean like 4 or 5, I used to listen to AC/DC and Slipknot and stuff with my dad. When I got about 8 I didnt want to listen to is anymore. When I turned about 10 or 11 I started listening to it again. And guess what? So did she.<br><br>Now, Im labeled everything from emo to gothic to metalhead and blah blah blah. Whatever. I dont do labels. I just went to the Slipknot show, as most of you know. I got some old jeans of mine, ripped some holes in them, bleached them, sandpapered them(makes them look older) and painted them with white and black. Now, about five minutes ago this is the text convo we had.<br><br>Me: 'Hey, whats up?'<br>Her: 'God! My mom sucks! Grrr!'<br>'Why do you say that?'<br>'Shes bein mean'<br>'Well, whats she doing?'<br>'She told me Im not allowed to buy clothes today. But I need some jeans.'<br>'Cant you get them another day?'<br>'Idk. I think shes goin ta let me get a white shirt, jeans that go to the knees, black bathin suit, and some neon paint one day this year'<br>'Whatcha need all that for?'<br>'Goin ta splatter the paint on the clothes...duh'<br>'Copycat'<br>'Not really. U just wait til im done! Then ull want a bathin suit like that to. G2g bye <3'<br>'Bye.'<br><br>Now, is it me, or does that sound like coping to anyone else? I mean...she NEVER even thought about painting her clothes until she saw my jeans. Its so annoying. >.<

    I know what you mean. Some of my friends are like that, and if it's something small, that's no big deal. But if it's like that, I point out that it's copying and they just say, "Oh, it's no biggie."<br><br>Well, maybe not for you, but <span style="font-style:italic">I</span> like to be original.<br><br>Haha, my friends notice that I love some songs until they become popular and listened to by everyone--then I'm like, "Okay, this song sucks..." -moves onto another song that everyone will love in about a month-

    <br><br>I do that all the time xD Normally me and my friends tell people to listen to a song and then the whole schools listening to it and I refuse to listen to it anymore xD
