Explicit content warning on CDs?

When I lived in Alaska, I had to have either my sister or my mom buy me certain CDs because they had that warning. <br><br>But now, I'm totally somewhere else than Alaska, and I just bought a Slipknot CD and it didn't have that warning (it's not an edited one)...Did government suddenly turn awesome for a moment and got rid of that? Or only in random states?

    hmm i really dont know. <br><br>In Texas they used to have labels.. i dont know anymore i dont buy many cds.. But as far as i know even kids could buy them with explicit labels lol

    Um not sure. I dont buy CDs but in Ohio I think I may have seen those stickers. Hang on..let me grab my slipknot cd..<br><br>yeah..<br><br>My slipknot cs says Parental Advisory for explicit content. I don't know if I have to have someone else buy it though..because my mom bought this cd and was disgusted by it so I asked if I could have it to put the songs on my ipod and she was like, "yes but then get it out of my house," lmao. xD

    xDDD I think one time while I was sleeping my mom sneaked a listen to my CD player with a Slipknot CD in it, I think it disturbed her xD.<br><br>With the warnings only people 18 and older can buy them.

    They let me buy those cds and Im not 18. At all. Maybe the people that work there just like me? xD<br><br>Which Slipknot cd? I have one that wasnt edited, didnt have the sticker and the rest do.. xD

    <span style="font-size:92">Whether it has a warning label or not doesn't depend on the state that has it, it's the company that make's the CD. ;p I've never had to be 18 to buy a CD with an explicit content warning on it, maybe that's just certain states. xP But Syve is right, if it's Slipknot, and it isn't edited, it should -definitely- have that warning on it haha.</span>

    <br><br>The Slipknot one xD. With 742617000027 and (sic). I was scared it was edited but then I listened to a few songs and it definitely wasn't edited xD.<br>I had the CD forever ago but I guess I lost it.

    <br><br>Yeah, but I was still wondering if kids could buy the CDs anyway...That's neat that companies can make CDs without the label, though x3.
