I just got back from my french exam, which I studied like crazy for, becuase I have an idiot teacher.<br><br>Well... the exam was easy.<br><br>To easy. <br><br>Like, a grade 4 level easy. I'm in grade 9 academic french, which is for the over achievers.<br><br>Seriously? 60 multiple choice marks, 20 reading questions, and 10 marks for writing a 10 sentance paragraph on anything.<br><br>The multiple choice questions were like this:<br><br>#) Il __________ pour arrivé a la cinema.<br><br>a) se peigne (he combed)<br>b) se departer (he left)<br>c) se lave (he washed)<br>d) se brosse (he brushed)<br><br>#) Cette cours de francais est _____________.<br><br>a) flamingo (flamingo)<br>b) amusant (amusing/fun)<br>c) kangarou (kangaroo)<br>d) chien (dog)<br><br>Seriously? I studied and get this simplicity for 30% of my grade? I've had QUIZZES harder than this.<br><br>And the reading had little circles with numbers in them so you could find the answers easier.<br><br>And my paragraph? Ya, I made it complex... I want to show I'm at a grade nine level.<br><br>Anyways, it was the right exam... I talked to the chaperones, and they said that was it. And the course code was correct too. And my teacher walked around and made sure they were the right tests. <br><br>Don't even get me started on my teacher... geez, she's clueless. She gives us tests for no reason, yet we are allowed to watch Titanic, CSI and Godzilla in her class. I've learned nothing. She was supposed to teach immersion, which is why I dropped down into core.<br><br>The exam and the entire course was an insult to my intelligience. I can't wait until monday, because then I have my favourite classes with all my BGFs and my BFF.

    that sucks, and I can ttly relate, sorta. I have the stupidest, strangest, and worst french teacher ever! We have weekly tests, on the randomest stuff, like reading comprehension sheets, and we all fail, and she practically calls us stupid! Then, one lunch recess yesterday, we trashed the class, and all we got was a time consuming class time lecture of respect! It was hilarious! Oh, and she talks on her cell in class, and gives us candy to make up for it. We got to watch prom queen in class, on halloween. Is weird, and we all hate her. We had staples in her coffee, but dumped it, since we are old enough for jail. UGH! Then, none of the tests matter, because I would be getting all like 60's and I got 70 as my lowest. She gave me a 90 in art!?!?!?!

For those, all the people in french would take the same regardless if they were in honors or not. It makes us that are in honors have a really easy midterms/finals. Like all French2 students would take the same tests as the other french2 students. French3 would take the same as the other french3. <br><br>Complaining on here won't do much to solve your problem if she really is a bad teacher. Ask for a schedule change or something because right now its not doing too much. And did "she" make the test or is it a standard test all the french teachers use?<br><br>I can't say whether that was easy or not because I am a Spanish2 student. I never liked french when we had to study french, german, and spanish for a semester so we'd know what language we wanted to start taking in 9th.
