Hand-Drawn Greyhound! [Need Help]

Here's my greyhound sketch! I relize it's probably gigantic and really blurry, im sorry. The reason it's blurry is because i was soo excited to show you guys it!!! I did use a referance, the tail was supposed to be in between the legs, but it didnt look right if you catch meh drift....Here it is!! <img src="http://i316.photobucket.com/albums/mm334/Theprotecter/002.jpg"; alt="http://i316.photobucket.com/albums/mm334/Theprotecter/002.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> Oh and i have a lot of questions!! Questions 1. Is it dis-oriented looking? 2. How do you make transparent backgrounds? 3. What colors and how? (shading...etc..oh not brindle) 4. Is it reaally ugly??? 5. Would it be good enough for commission with all the proper changes and if it were clearer? Please Help!!

I think you should focus more on drawing than selling. I think you lack some knowledge of anatomy. Learn skeletal structures of dogs, don't worry about showing anyone, and don't worry about selling the art, and definitely don't worry about making the background transparent. You should only go into digital when you have at least some basic coloring skills with real media (colored pencils, markers, etc.).
