Age Stopper (trainers look)

edited February 2009 in Game Suggestions
At a certain age that you select, when your dog hits that age, you are no longer able to train it anymore until you remove the age stopper.

Sounds better than seeing how old the dog is, isn't it?

  • Yeah it would make it easier. Hmmm... it sort of takes away some of the challenge though... It's debatable.
  • What challenge? Stopping before you over train? o.O

    Yes. Absolutely.

  • Love the idea, it would make long grooming so much quicker!

  • I think also perhaps that it could be implemented on contracts (like the send for # turns) But choose the ages to send back instead. Most of the time I get contracts that have 2500 turns or 250 (which is not enough for most contracts)

I actually trained one of Blueyy's dogs unto death. I think one of the problems is that this is not an age listed on the training page like there is over on VHR.

Due to lack of interest tomorrow is canceled. Let the clocks be reset and the pendulums held.
  • Love this, makes long grooming years easier!

  • *gasps* Oh, my goodness this idea is perfect! Only one, tiny, insignifigant problem:

Say you're grooming and grooming, then you reach the age and the dog is sent back. With energy and mood as low as they possibly could go without you being able to fix it.

But it's only a tiny problem, because it's better than overgrooming for a year, right?

  • I don't really see how it matters if energy and mood is low. That person would probably compete the dog (which involves taking turns) or breeding (again taking turns where you can up the mood). I say its a minor minor detail.

The trainer can set it, and take it off. =D That's the idea I guess. xD
