Guitar Players look Here!

Okay.<br><br>I play the violin, and recently lost interest after about three years, and hell, whats the point in keeping something I never play? I can't play piano, but I would like to play guitar as it is one of my favorite instruments. I would like to play electric, but I need to -play- first (learned how to play years ago, and forgot how as I grew older from lack of instrument), so dad said to stick with acoustic first.<br><br>So, I would like some help, such as what guitars are the best to buy for a beginner, ect ect.
