My aunt has owned and shown Irish Setters for... forever, I think. I love her dogs, they're so beautiful and elegant. My siblings and I pretty much grew up with them and they are all incredibly socialized and good with kids. <br><br> Last night, my aunt called my mom and asked her if she would be interested in working together to breed Irish Setters. My mom decided and told me an hour ago that she said yes! So my aunt is moving to house with 15 acres very close to our house. The dam of the first litter is one of her show dogs, and she found a very good stud, and they are hopefully breeding in about a week and a half, which means puppies in mid March! Our plan is to keep one or two of the puppies for us to show, sell a few to other people that show dogs, and then sell the rest to good family homes. <br><br>My aunt has been planning this for a long time, and she is very knowledgeable about it, and has a lot of friends that breed dogs (both setters and other breeds).<br><br>I am soooooo excited!

    A stray dog once bred with one of my doggehs. xD And she's a chow, so her coat isreally thick, and we didn't know o.o Then again, I was three. xD

    Congrats I hope you post pictures. I think Irish Setters are one of my favorite breeds because my cousin had one and that book <span style="text-decoration:underline">Big Red</span>
