Whos online?

How come we can only see which novices are online , why not sponcers . Plus on VHR they have a toggle so if you don't want to be seen for being online just turn toggle on

Well I think we should choose if we want to be seen. The main reason I think you can't see sponsors is so they don't get spammed by novices. Man I am on my novice kennels for a few minutes and I am swarmed. Its a jungle out there. :shock:

Me to and im a novice, sometimes i wish it wasnt so difficult to report people, wait doesnt it say in the rules you cant send advertising messages? But then again, by blocking the bark park to novices the website administers/owners/whatever sort of caused this....

But novices were spamming in it with Boyfriend/girlfriend wanted messages. And other bad things. They could always make a forum account.... Instead of spamming people with messages.

I think that alot of novices think you have to be a sponsor to have a forum account. Or don't even know what or if there is a forum.

Yes it is against the rules to message ads. Prohibited Conduct Rule 8. Post or transmit unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or other forms of solicitation And spamming was bad even before they shut out the bark park to novices. Most players won't even report it so there is less for them to deal with. Meh its a slight annoyance. It's not really a huge deal.

About 10 minutes ago. While I was training, I decided to check out my novice accounts and see if my dogs had sold, or had bids. I was on my stud kennel for 2 minutes and I got a message saying: 'Hi!' .. igggnnnoorrreee ... & Delete.

When I went onto my wolves kennel the player did the same thing. I think im going to deliberately stay on them so i get a tonne of messages so I can ignore them all. :twisted:

In some ways, it's annoying that you can't see sponcers online. But in other ways, it's annyoying when you can be seen online. I get a lot of adds and messages saying hi when I really am busy and do not want to chat.

i was on my novice account for like 2 mins, and i got 5 ad. messages! i agree with the toggle though. ive made an ad on the barkpark for the forums though

Yeah I get alot of messages saying "Hi" its so so annoying. :evil: But about the bark park think there is alot of Novices out there that are genuin and won't do silly ad's. Not bragging about myself but me for innstence...I'm not going to be the one saying "I won't a boyfriend on the Bark park"! But I can't advertise my dogs so I don't make money! So there is people out there who wouldn't do that and are Novices. I wonder if you had to be playing for a sertain amout of time or the ops gave you the all clear to post on the Bark park? Would that work (just a sugesstion).

*sigh* People have suggested things so novices could post on the bark park. It's not going to happen! There are other ways they can advertise. The bark park was taken away because some novices couldn't handle it and ruined it for other novices. This frees up more of the OPs time because they are not going through and having to deal with these players.

As tarnish and tiffer already said, the Bark Park was closed to novices for posting due to the ridiculous amount of players who used it inappropriately, despite various warnings. As internet safety is a top priority on here, it will remain closed. While I do feel sorry for the novices out there who do the right thing, protecting players from possible internet stalkers is a higher priority.
