  <br><br>So what?<br><br>Pictures are a form of art. I don't see your 'difference' between snapshots and legit photography.<br><br>They're images taken by cameras of something, in this case, scenery.

  You can put -any- type of "art" in the Artist Alley. Kazuko created it. Therefore, it's art.

  xD Not really, because then it'd be out of context.<br><br>If you said "Nice cat" but it were a dog, then it's no longer nice, because it was nice when it was a cat. But since it's not a 'cat', then it can't be a 'nice cat', thus it can't be nice.<br><br>The English language is weird that way.

  xD The pictures you showed don't even use the rule of thirds, if I do remember my media class. Then again, I may be mistaking this for a rule of balance where you need balance a picture out with background images on either side so as to not overwhealm.<br><br>The subject was 'scenery' or 'nature'.<br><br>The mood or feeling I was going for was 'peaceful' or 'abandoned'.<br><br>I admit, one or two of those pictures were just for kicks and giggles, mostly the ones with the fish. <br><br><br>And yes, you DID say something offensive towards me.<br><br>"this is artists alley"

There -is- a difference between photography and snapshots, but unless you are trained in photography, and have a professional camera, it hardly matters. In the second one, a snapshot despite the matte, there is no specific subject. Even in nature shots, there is a set subject.
