iPod Touch

I'm thinking about getting an iPod touch. I want a new music player and I've been debating on what I should get now for, I kid you not, over a year. xD I have the 1st Generation iPod Nano and there's nothing wrong with it it's just it only holds music, photos, and the games it came with so I'm ready to upgrade. xD So my questions.... Does anyone have an iPod Touch? And what are your opinions on it? (even if you don't have one) I thought about a Zune (the larger one) but it'd be so inconvenient. I have iPod stuff already and it'd be easier to upgrade to another iPod.

alot of my friends have one, and they are really good. if you have an internet signal, you can on it and stuff. If you really want to go far, and have enough money, then buy an iphone

The only thing is you have to have AT&T as a service provider then and we don't use them. xD Well... You can somehow hack into the phone and then be able to use it with other services but I image it's illegal maybe? xDD

Hmm There's this new touch phone that just came out from my service provider. I'm checking that out. xD But anyone else have any input on the iPod Touch?

EDIT: okay the cell phone looks dumb. xD Won't be getting that!

Bozz :} I got a Itouch for my birthday. In april. I adore it, the New gens have The app store. But i have gotten aroudn to downloading the app store yet -.- Its pretty much like any other Ipod, but it have the Wi-fi Connection Internet, and youtube app :] the iphone isn;t anything speacial. -.- I personaly think the Itouch is very much worth it.

I have a 1st generation iPod touch and I've been very happy with it. The only thing I've had problems with is that I can't have too many apps on it at once because the flash drive can't handle that much at one time, but since your getting the second generation (new ones) then that probably won't be an issue. I have two games on it. One was free off of the apps store and the other I paid $5 for. They both work great and I haven't had a problem with either of them.

My brother has an iPod touch. But I don't know much about it. Is supposedly awesome, according to him anyway, lol. I vote go for it :] Should be worth it. He downloads/buys allot of extra things. Fun games. I think I saw him playing an old NES game with his finger. SNADNESS. And the ipod was filled with liquid (virtual) and when he tipped it over his mouth it was empty like a drink. UBER SNADNESS. And he's always looking words up on a dictionary thing. And . . . that's all I know o.o

Just don't ever drop it, the screen cracks really easily because it's made of glass

I have one, and have had it since last year [got it for christmas], and I have to say it's pretty much my best friend, lol. And, although I've been really rough with it [I've dropped it. A lot.] It's only got a little chip in the glass, which hasn't effect the perfomance in any way. The glass is really hardy. I love the way everything in the music section is connected. Like if you click a song, and hit the little button on the top right corner it gives you every song by that same artist. Everything is so cool when you flip the iPod around, and I love that the screen is really big. I could never go back to a nano [which I had before.] because now I think all other iPod screens are obscenely small. :P All in all, I don't regret my Touch in any way...defintely worth the money. ...Hope that helps? well both my friends go theres stolen, and beware they break so so easy, too. a lot of money to spend for something that maybe will not last too long. i'm sticking with mine just because i dun want to waste money if it breaks... and chances are ill drop it a lot, but maybe you different aye?

Lol I yeah listen to Moony about the sturdy thing, I can't count how many times I've dropped mine (on the hardwood, grass, pavement, carpet, hard stuff, soft stuff, inside, outside) and it still works perfectly.
