  <br><br>Oh, I know few great tutorials for that. It's my favorite kind of fur to do, as it's probably the easiest once you get the hang of it. XD This one demonstrates how it works pretty well <a href="http://kesame.deviantart.com/art/Tutorial-Fur-66912798"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://kesame.deviantart.com/art/Tutorial-Fur-66912798</a>; It's basically just drawing the shape of the fur with a dark color and then adding highlights to the tips of the clumps with a smaller brush.

  <br><br>I use Photoshop for all of my digital work (although I do a lot of traditional art too.). It's pretty much just practice, practice, practice no matter what program or media you are using.<br><br>If you're looking at art programs I would suggest Photoshop. It's pretty easy to use and has limitless options on things you can do with it. Or, you can download GIMP for free, which I hear is very similar to photoshop.<br><br>Hope that helps.
