Does anybody know sign language..?! :shock: I'm thinking of taking that as my foreign language. It looks so easy, plus its so beautiful when people preform it.

........................................................ What languages should I learn, or try to learn. When I grow up, I want to know a lot.... And I'm willing to learn them too.

So give me suggestions! :shock:

I know a little bit of sign language, because my cousin is deaf. One language that I would recommend is Latin. It helps you with the SAT.

If you've learned Spanish, then maybe Italian? I've heard that Italian is almost like Spanish somewhat? Haha. I'm not totally sure about that but my teachers have told me that :P

took a class when i worked at the hospital,it is great to know,there are different types of sign language,but basic helps all,never know where you may need it

I know a tad, we teach it to kids at the daycare I work at after school. My friends mom also knows it, she does it for the deaf kids during school, assembleys and regular classroom stuff.

Yeah, my grandma and aunt used to know it. My aunt -who is like my twin... NO LIE- used to be on the swim team like I was and they would use sign language to communicate to each other since they couldn't yell because it was too loud. they would use it and would read each other... When my grandma told me that I fell in love! :shock: I'm also thinking of German because I'm like 45-55% German

Hmm, I thought my school taught German as a language but I just got done talking to my friend and she said no...... :shock: DARNS! - How could I learn, say, over the summer... Since I have to focus on school and not extra stuffies... hehe

I learned how to do the alphabet in hand signals and movements through some gorilla training website.. and actually picked up on it really well. That was about 5 or 6 years ago and still, someone can say a letter to me and my hand will be up in the right position in the blink of an eye without me really having to think about it. A few years ago I actually had a conversation with a deaf person. It was when I was still a little rusty and still learning, but I did it! It was cool, but sad in a way.

So many people speak Spanish at my school... I hate how they do it too. They know, me being an albino white gurl, know that I don't understand them, so they'll talk it in front of me... But I somehow know when they're talking about me... :shock: Even if they never look at me... Its weird. Though, they rarely do talk about meh... Even though they should cause I'm so great like that!! Pshhhh... Yeah right... Hehe

Yes, Italian is very much like Spanish. I'm learning it now, in fact but I don't know much, haha. I know the alphabet in sign language, if that helps

Hehe, I only know "A". Teehee, I got a lot of work ahead of me. I think the languages that I'm gonna learn are sign language and maybe, German... If I can figure out how I would learn that since they don't teach that at my school... :?
