Virtual Pup's BIG Give (OPs LOOK PLEASE)

Virtual Pup's BIG Give
Do you ever notice all the charities we have on Virtual Pups? Well most of them I see are for certain groups of people, that's when I thought why not one for everyone on Virtual Pups, even the Operators (Ops). My idea is that we would collect money from people who are willing to donate some VP cash here and there, nothing big is being asked of course! Then we would put all the money we recieved on an account, made by an Operator, to be auctioned off on a certain day, for real money. This money would go to the website VirtualPups.com, and the forums, depending on what Orbis Games decides to do with it. This money I thought would be used to help them keep the game running, make any improvements that may be needed, donate to other charities, anything necesary, or whatever Orbis Games believes will make the Virtual Pups world better. Therefore, this BIG Give is for everyone, since it is helping everyone on VP.

How can I help donate?
You can help donate various ways, but you may only donate money. You can sell those lovely trained dogs, or even ones that are just sitting at your kennel. Do you make lovely art? Well sell some of it and donate a portion of it, or however much, to VP BIG Give! You can simply just donate some money you have too, the possibilities are endless!

If you want to donate send a contract to the following kennel:
(kennel not yet available)
Before you send though please post the following form in here, so I can keep track of who donated what ^_^

Forum Name:
Kennel Link:
Amount of Money Donated (write hidden if not wanting to share):
Other:

Donators
None Yet!
Please PM if I win anything.

 • Okay thank you very much ^_^
I just wanted to post this so people would know that I would be doing this, even though they can't donate yet xD

 • This thread was started with the idea to want to help out, which is a great thing. But, and I really don't wish to rain on anyone's parade, it probably would have been better to speak with Nef first.

There are several tax laws and gambling type laws that this would infringe on if anyone from Orbis Games was to have any part in organizing this or holding the money for.

Companies cannot receive gifts/donations, except from the government  Any money a company is given is considered an investment and either must be paid back or the company declare bankrupcty to avoid paying it back.

Auctioning off Virtual Pups cash for real money brings all types of gambling laws into play (because there is gambling within the game), which is why it's against the rules for players to advertise real money purchases for game items unless approved by Nef beforehand.

If you want to help out the game and generate more money for it, there's an easy way that doesn't cost players anything except a few seconds. Click on the ads. The game receives revenue when the ads are clicked.

Get a bunch of people together and use VP cash to get another player to purchase a goodie dyes or imports or maybe even a private breed that could be shared with those who "donated".

 • Thank you for telling us about this. I am glad I know about this before I was the cause that VP shut down >.<
