A little advice?

edited November 2008 in General Discussion
Alright, well, I need a little word of advice.
And no, it's not for VP, it's real life.

Here's a little background info:
There's this woman at my barn that owns two horses. One she currently rides and the other one is somewhat ridden but not by her. Anyways, a few months ago her new horse (the one that she rides) tripped and she fell off, spraining/braking her ankle.

The one horse that she doesn't ride alot or at all is sweet and can take a beginner to an advanced rider.

Alright, well, the horse that isn't being ridden as much, I really want to lease. I've already asked her once, back in either July or August, I can't remember quite which one. Anyways, she said that she might be using the horse to build up her courage and to get back where she was before she fell off her other horse.
She said she would let me know in a few months afterwards if it would be okay (to lease him)/change her mind about it.

Well, I want to ask her now, it's been a few months, and she has hardly ridden that horse (the one i want to lease) at all and she has only been riding the one that she fell off of.
Anyways, I'm writing her a note now, because she usually goes to the barn in the mornings. I was going to leave the note in her tack-locker. But, before I go, I would like other peoples' advice other than my own. What do you think I should do?

Ruffian
