This would be a huge undertaking for the HTML artists for VP, but it is just a suggestion.

I'm not completely sure if this is already in motion,
But I think we should have genetics a part of VP.. like in colors and stuff.
Like, I just had a Cane Corso litter, and the dam was red fawn w/ mask,
And the sire was blue fawn. One of their offspring was tubby (which I
have never heard of before, except for being an obesity gene in mice
[which I guess is a "grey" color]). In "formentino" (blue fawn) and
"fawn" (fawn with mask or without) the puppies are usually formentino or fawn..
There can be a black puppy in a very rare case, but the offspring take
the parents' or grandparents' colors, and carry others.

I think we should add recessive colors and dominant colors to the game,
even though we can change the dog's colors--I guess that would defeat
the purpose. But we can work to attain dog colors that we want without
spending unnecessary money on it!

The only thing is, we would have to do a little research for the people
who would want it for their breed. For example:

I'll pick a popular dog breed.... Great Dane:

>Fawn<

Fawns should have fawns and brindles, and only have
blacks in their pedigrees at a max of 4 generations.

Blacks that are used in these pedigrees may carry Fawn and/or Brindle
recessively. Therefore, when these Blacks are bred to Fawn or Brindle,
Fawn and/or Brindle may be produced in addition to Black.

Fawn x Fawn = Fawn
Fawn x Brindle = Brindle and/or Fawn
Fawn x Black = Black and/or Fawn and/or Brindle

>Blue<

Pedigrees of Blues should have only Blue and Black for a minimum of
four generations. Blues should not have Fawn, Brindle, or Harlequin (or
any color from the Harlequin family) for a minimum of four generations.

Blues should be bred only to Blues or Blacks which have only Blue or
Black in their pedigrees.

Blue x Blue = Blue
Blue x Black = Black and/or Blue

et cetera!

What do you think? I think it would be fun!

REF: <a href="
