I'm running for Student Council Vice President! Yay! I ran for senator last year and won, so at first I was like, this will be a piece of cake. But NOW, someone else decided to run against me. She is also very well known, and all the upperclassmen are very good friends with her. Also, she is OK with the underclassmen. Yeah yeah, she's good with them, but her speaking skills aren't the best. I'm not at all the shy type, and am good with public speaking. If you have any tips or anything, I'd love to have them.

Make sure you can connect with your audience. Especially since you are running against a 'people-person', you need to prove that you can be social as well.<br><br>Hope that helps, and good luck!!<br>-Rosy

No doubt about it, I'm a very very people person. I'm not the least bit shy. This girl though is "friends" with these people is what I'm worried about. ^^

You should speak very confidently and happily, because people would rather vote for someone who there able to hear then someone whos mummbling. And even if you get alittle worried never give it up because its not over intill the final ballet is counted!
