8x4?

Okay, I have a question. What is it meant by "my dog is 8x4" or "my dog is 10x4" or whatever? I think it has something to do with training but I'm not sure...

    <span style="font-size:75">You see the stats.. Speed, loyalty, etc. on the left hand side? They have stars next to them.<br>There are 10 stat types total. <br>And good dogs have 4 stars in those stats. So and 8x4 would mean a dog with 8 stats that have four stars representing them.</span>
