She was only like a year and a half, which is not normal. I don't know what happened. Gerbils normally live 3-5 years but I've heard of them living longer.

My rabbits have a routine. Every morning I feed them pellets (they each get a certain amount). At night they get veggies and pellets (again, certain amount). They always have hay and fresh water available. Cleaning litter boxes is a weekly event. I have to find ways to entertain them. Dolla's fur requires regular brushing. (I wrote how to care for my rabbits on a notebook sheet of paper, it took both sides of it. XD)
Hey! Wow. I haven't checked my PMs or been on in like a month, then I come on, and this post is still hrere, and I am like o.0

A way to slim down your mouse?? give her a whole lot of excercise. If you don't have a wheel, you might want to try one. My rat is not a wheel-runner, and has never run, but a lot of mice are born runners and love running wheels. Your mice are adorable. I love them both xD

I have never tried the eco stuff, but maybe I will see later.

I had gerbils before, and in the end, one of them survived for about 6 years. She was great, and I loved her a lot. She learned to love being held by me, but never really became tame, because she valued her freedom rather than human interaction.

So sorry to hear about your gerbil Boz, it is always sad to have an animal pass.
