Science class... oh how you gotta love it!

So the assignment... Make a story about a Carbon Atom Cycle<br>Group members: 3 of my high school guy friends and me right there you should fear for your life<br>The result: a bunch of scribbles and jots that I had to make into a story<br>The final copy = 538 words: <br><br>Once upon a sunny day there was a tiny carbon atom. This carbon atom was unlike any carbon atom though, this carbon atom had a name and it was Frank. Frank’s life on the huge Earth began when the big yellow sun radiated light and him down through the atmosphere all the way down to a stinky old dump, where he made his way to a rotten old banana peal. Once Frank faced his horrifying fate of having to live in a dump his dreams of becoming a ‘junky’ soon were shattered when a large seagull came and gobbled up him and the rotten old banana peal. <br><br> So his new home was inside a real living seagull. Unfortunately it too was shortly outlived when the seagull got harpooned by whale hunters. As the dead carcass plunged to the sparkling sea a small shark met it and gobbled it up who soon was gobbled up by a killer whale. <br><br>As an hour went by, it seemed like Frank was sitting on that rotten banana peel, in that dead seagull, in that dead shark and in that live whale forever. That was until the whale suddenly had a heart attack causing it to die. As the whale floated down to the bottom of the ocean it started decomposing after time into the sediment that lined the ocean floor. Eventually the whale’s sediments and Frank underwent so much heat and pressure they turned into fossil fuels. <br><br>Soon after turning into fossil fuel, Frank found himself flowing through an underground oil stream that runs to an off-shore oil rig in Asia. The oil and Frank from there is transferred to Beijing, China where it’s turned into gasoline. <br><br>Once the gasoline is processed it is put up for sale at 10 grains of rice /L. An old Chinese farmer from the Shang Pow district buys his gas and Frank and drives home soon emitting Frank in the air from the exhaust from the tractor. <br><br>Floating freely in the polluted smoggy air of China Frank, was glad he was out in the air again. Soon though, Frank was sucked in a tree’s stoma and used in the process of photosynthesis and cellular respiration when night fell. Once again Frank was floating freely in the air until he was evaporated in the clouds and rained down on a hay field. The hay seeds used the water and Frank to grow into nice tall Timothy hay that was harvested and fed to George, the Chinese horse. As Frank and the hay are digested George finally farts out the methane gas and Frank, the carbon atom. <br><br>Once again, Frank, was sucked in the stoma of a tree and used in photosynthesis but a typhoon hit Beijing and knocked over the tree and killed it. Over time the tree decomposes and turns into sediment traveling deeper and deeper through the ground as more sediment gathers over it causing a lot of heat and pressure. One day Frank was feeling stiff. To his surprise he was sedimentary rock! <br><br>After a lot of thinking he decided this was going to be his last destination. So Frank lived out the rest of his carbon atom life as Sedimentary rock. <br><br>The End<br><br>Oh god...
