Birthday List

Well, my birthday is coming up, so my family is pushing me and my siblings to get a list together. So I figured I'd ask all the people that recently had a birthday/people with ones coming up, what was/is on their list! Mine: ***CD/Tape player for my music. My teacher records songs on her tape player to help me know if I'm playing it right(rhythm, the overall sound, etc.) and our family one died a few months ago. =[ But I'd love one of my own. And the CD player, because some music books come with CDs with orchestra-like accompaniment thing. And I need a CD player, of course! Hah! Money cause I like having it in my bank account. xD And I can buy myself some flute books. =D Flute Cleaning Kit cause I hate cleaning my flute with a shirt and worrying about the springs. D; Having one would be so convenient! ***Flute Music Books Erm.. I worked ahead in my book this week and covered about 5 new major notes. Yay! So I only have 3-4 more notes until I've learned them all. Now I can start working on technique. Which I am so excited about! I recently watched some videos on youtube, a flute player who was drop jaw amazing. Perfect tone, no mistakes, and just.. wonderful. And I'm totally inspired and want to get some books! xD Erm.. this turned more into me blabbing about my flute.. But recently, it's become my outlet. But I have very few real songs(ones over 10 measures. -_-) in my book, so I really want more. xD So.. Yeah. >_> And the stars are the ones I realllllly want. x3

Ooh, you have a birthday coming up? When? *too lazy to look at the birthday post* Money for the win! xD I can't really ask for much this year.. since I'm leaving on a cruise 2 weeks after my birthday xD

October second. =3 I'm not sure if I can wait that long to get sheet music! =o xD Well, my parents owe me 60 and I have 300 or so in the bank. So it's not a huge priority. xDD And I'll be getting a job. So I'm not like MUST GET MONEY. xD I don't use it anyway. Ooh! A cruise! xD Yeah, I don't normally ask for a lot. Just 3-4 items. One being money, the rest being.. random stuff that can be given in quantities, normally. So yah. =3

Woo 5 days before mine! Money is starting to be a big thing for me now.. seeing as I want to buy stuff now. xD I have over 1k in the bank.. but I don't like to spend it

I'd like to buy a digital camera, and a tablet, plus some art stuff. xD But I know that'd be too much to ask from my parents so, I'm saving. xD How long have you been playing the flute? I hate waiting also xD

I started about a month before getting Auzzy.. so.. About a year and a half? ^^ I actually had never heard the flute before, except in big orchestras, where you couldn't really pick it out unless you knew the instrument, so it was a big risk.. xD But I've loved it since we rented it. I felt like I would die when some of the keys fell off and I had to use a substitute. xD I got teased for crying about it. I hated that substitute though. So unfamiliar. But yeah. My flute will officially belong to me in January or February. =D Well, I have a tablet, a digital camera, and photoshop. I'm currently looking for a new moniter, but my dad's helping me pay for that since mine died and it's not just a "I want a new one" thing. xD So I really have nothing to spend it on. Maybe I'll pester my dad to take me to the store sometime this weekend. x)

The teacher was highly recommended by my mom's friends and she kept going on about how convenient it would be for her if my sister and I took lessons at the same place, so I felt a bit guilty and made a decision between piano and flute. I was leaning towards piano, because of all the music out there for it. But I thought that the flute(the teacher played it for me. Yay!) sounded elegant, and decided to do that instead. Not every day you hear of a flute player, and she only had two students(including me) that took flute, so she would be able to remember better where we were at and what we needed to work on, etc. =]

That makes sense ^^ I bet it'd be nice to have such a small class. I have recently started to develop in interest in paino, but I know that I won't be able to do lessons. Not with dance and riding, and hopefully --maybe-- soon art lessons. I'd love to hear you play sometime if you ever recorded yourself

I really want to upload some on my playing of the harder songs. Probably focus the camera on my fingers and mouth so I can see what my fingers are doing and how my ambashure thing is looking. xDD I can't spell at 4 am, by the way. It's actually private lessons, my teacher doesn't see the point in group lessons. But with such a little flute "class" like I said, there's less "What did you need to do this week" than what my sister gets. xD But still, once I learn a lot more technique, I'll probably cut the time to 15 minutes of flute and then pay for 15 extra minutes on top of my 30 minute lessons and do piano too. =3 So basically I'd have 15 minutes to go over technique and play around with that, and 30 minutes to learn piano. Yayyy. xD I would love to do riding. But it's so expensive here! It's 35-40 dollars an hour for a group lesson. >< It's a real bummer because I really was hoping to do some riding. But they went way high. I'm starting art club one Wed. It's only once a month and it's with kids ranging from Kindergarten to high school. O_O I'll die. xDD

xDD Awesome! We need more flute players. =D Hose, I told you I couldn't wait. xD I just went out and bought 50 dollars worth of books. xDD I gots.. A book with religous songs.. Two Disney books(yay!) And a Sound of Music book! =D Currently working on Edelweiss and My favorite things. =]
