Meh Pup, Jack :]

Okay, it's time for me to show off my adorable baby xP I'm just obsessed with showing him off. He's like meh baby and I luffles him too much to keep him to myself =3 Okay, profile time. Name: Captain Jack Breed: Labrador Retriever (mix?) Nick Name: Jack Date Found: July 9, 2008 Age: 1 yr - 1 1/2 yrs His Story: Found him on the nineth of July up against our house with two broken legs (right side) and mostly starving (ribcage showing). Dad was going to call the SPCA (because we already have 3 dogs) but they were already closed (in fact it was only minutes after they closed). The next day the kids begged and prayed to keep him. I can't remember exactly but I think it was only a day or two after that that dad decided to let us keep him (not in the house. Mom had enough of dogs destroying the inside so she agreed to keep him outside in a large dog run). We took him to vet to get neutered, have shots and such. His legs are practically completely healed after a month of pills taken. He now has new collar w/ tag (name, phone) and currently has stitches, er, where they did surgery. Those will be removed Saturday =D Then we can play with him again and he can go swimming again. Oh, and vet says he thinks Jack is part chow JUST because he has purple spots on his tongue. PFFT! Just freckles, I say! Everything else about him is COMPLETELY labrador! Seriously, vets these days - PFFT!... *ehem* We currently bought a huge dog house for him to put in his run. We will be building the dog run tomorrow night and putting him in it POSSIBLY tomorrow night or we may just wait until the next morning so he can get used to it throughout the day. Imma loving him possibly even more than my other dogs! Yes, actually I believe I do! (never had a dog who plays with me before xD) PICTURE TIME!! 7-9-08 <img src="http://i34.tinypic.com/21ai9s0.jpg"; alt="http://i34.tinypic.com/21ai9s0.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> He sort of decided to lie down in our bushes and flatten them. But he was real friendly with the kids (even though mom was screaming the whole time "not to touch him - he could have a decease"). 7-10-08 <img src="http://i38.tinypic.com/xfvxv4.jpg"; alt="http://i38.tinypic.com/xfvxv4.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> The next day he had become quite comfortable. As you can see, he was already taking things from the porches and dropping them in his "stash". 7-11-08 <img src="http://i34.tinypic.com/2woyr1i.jpg"; alt="http://i34.tinypic.com/2woyr1i.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> The next day, Happy Happy... 7-13-08 <img src="http://i37.tinypic.com/21blwly.jpg"; alt="http://i37.tinypic.com/21blwly.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> Jack meets meh other doggeh, Kiara =D (picture is FAKE!(not literally) omg, don't get along that well ;P) 8-13-08 <img src="http://i34.tinypic.com/ny5hth.jpg"; alt="http://i34.tinypic.com/ny5hth.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> Made mom's wagon his bed. AWWW! He's so cute! I honestly don't see chow...his hair would be longer and he'd have a curlyish tail. o.o

You send in DNA. ;] Cost alot. lol Anyway I think he could possibly have some kind of hound in him. That first pic looks just like a houndish face not a lab face. xD

Purebred Lab. He's got to be. I've been looking at Labradors a lot, and he looks like the exact picture. Lol. The vet shouldn't have just assumed that he was part chow because of his tongue--my dog is most definitely not chow and she's got a blackish-blue spot on her tongue, too. We call it her 'T-mole' because it's on her Tongue and it's like a mole, lmao xD Jack is adorable! And Kiara used to be ma kitteh's name, lmao xD Captain Jack. That is the most adorable name evah!

My Molly has a simple name, but I call her ma loveable Mollsah. Lol xD But, I must say, Jack looks all Labrador to me. Vets can be totally ignorant of dog's breeds sometimes. :roll: And whether he's a mix or not, he's still your Captain Jack, so no need for a DNA test if it costs so much.

By the way, Molly is a Pit Bull/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, definitely no Chow, but she's got that 'T-mole'! Lmao

Hes gorgous! We have lots of labs and he has a much narrower face than them but I recon hes pure bred because loads of labs have narrow faces and fine bodies and others are big chunky things! Anyway hes absolutly perfect and im so jealous! xx

He looks like full black lab, however the blue spots on his tounge are an indication hes not. I wouldn't think hes mixed with chow though.
