My dog and her lovely 'friends' [eep]

I try hard to understand my dog, but I can't. Grr.

She is aggressive towards every dog she meets unless she grew up with them. She will attack them, in the yard, in the house..but not anywhere else. [at least not yet]

And ever since she has had puppies, it has gotten worse.

It could be me, having a tense scared feeling around her when another dog is by. It's almost as if she is wanting to be the dominant one..but even when dogs surrender..she still goes at it and goes after them.

Does anyone know how to help me..?

 • My dog is the same -unless- the dog has been in our house before she's gotten a chance to be inside.

She's a spayed female Pittie/Rhodie, and she'll attack most dogs except small ones.

The key idea is to stay calm whenever another dog is around. If you stay calm, she won't act up as much. If she's trying to be dominant, you take over and be the dominant one.

The pack leader makes all the decisons for his/her pack, so if you decided not to let her get near a dog and attack it, she won't. The dog regularily obeys the pack leader.

So, be a pack leader.
