I Just got to high school and my mom says i have to start thinking about what i am going to do with my life...but i don't know what. I know i like animals ALOT! So i want to do something with animals can some one give me ideas? I was thinking of becoming a vet but i don't now how many years you have to go to the school for or what u have to study for to make it easy ....can some one give me some ideas or vet suff?

Dog Breeding as your entire career, probably not. Unless you are going to make like a million dollar business out of it. It would be a good thing to do like on the side but not as a full time thing. prime dog buying time goes in and out and its just not a very stable career.

Oh and as for the marine biologist. I myself thought I was going to be one. I said that for about 5 years till I finally decided to do some research about where you would get a job and that kind of stuff. As it turns out, most people who go to college and study to be a marine biologist end up just being science teachers at a local high school or something. Its very slim that you will actually get to go out and be able to study the animals at all. You will just end up passing along what you learned to your students at high school. So, as much as it hurt, I had to let go of that career. Now Im pretty sure I am going to be a large animal vet and specialize in horses. Its going to take a lot of school, thats the only part I'm worried about... I know Im making all this sound grim and all, but Im just telling you what I know.

It is very, very hard to become a vet. Usually a UIA of around 98 is required. If that's what you want to do though, go for it. I recommend doing some work experience at your local vet and see what you think of it. There are lots of other careers involving animals you might be interested in. My mom is a dog breeder and we raise certain breeds.But we also board dogs we make about $600 dollars a day.Dog breeding is what I'm doing in the future :]

Might I add to become a vet you have to take atleast 8 years of school =/ Well, in the US that is. If you live over in the UK it's only like 5 or 6 years (from what i've heard) =3 And, my advice is that, you have a very long time to decide what you want to do. You may find interest in something that you never knew you liked in the next four years. Who knows

I would say another animal job, but everyone suggested all of the ones that i know of xD ^^

Are you only entertained by working with animals? Cause I love animals but I also have the other interests. In school we took career tests and these are the results I am choosing from: Producer or Fashon designer (I have many fresh idea's for movies. I may not know how to spell fashon but hell, I know what it looks like!) Marine Bioligist Sketch Artists Medical assistant There are more things to do :] just for the FYI. But follow what you think you can enjoy the most!

Just search up " Free Career Test " and you should find one sooner or later. The one I took had over 100 questions and was actually fun to me.
