Bad dream

edited August 2008 in General Discussion
Last night I had a really horrid dream. I dreamt that there was a eagle owl in my ferrets pen, and it was attacking them. I tried to shoo it away but couldn't as it kept picking up one of my ferrets. I eventually managed to get it out, but all of my fuzzies were sliced up and almost dead. It was horrible.

Then to top it off, when I came home from work I went upto them because the dream had been playing on my mind all day, and one of the girls fell smack on her spine. I was seriously almost in tears. My mum had to come up and reassure me that everything was ok.
The ferret is fine by the way. She's still running around with her favorite ball so she can't be too bad eh?

Grr, me and my over active imagination.

 • Bad dreams are horrible, I dreamed once that giant rats invaded my house and they are like vampires so whoever they bit turned into a giant rat. Theres more but I'm too lazy to type it. I was going to get a ferrat but it said they weren't good with dogs soooo....we got 2 chinchillas and I think the female is pregnant

 • Ferrets CAN get along with dogs. It does all depend on the dog and the ferret really. My friend had a dog that kept watch over her ferrets when they were loose in the house. My dogs however would tear them to pieces as look at them. I've never owned a Chinchilla, but think they are cute. Was the pregnancy intended or an accident?

 • Intended, and my dog isn't the most socialable dog you will meet. Chinchillas can be funny, we have a special wheel for chinchillas and whenever we walk by to their huge cage she will jump on it and start running. She does that so she can have a raison. and her butt goes up high it the air when she runs.

 • Don't ya just love the silly things your pets do? All 5 of my ferrets like to squeeze onto one smallish hammock nd they're not small ferrets either. lol
