Finally!

I am finally going on my first tuna trip. I've been waiting years for my dad to think I'm strong and old enough to be able to go with him. <br><br>I am leaving my house Sunday at 10 pm, to get to the boat at 10:30. We are going to leave the dock at midnight. We will ready all our poles and rigs untl about 1:30, then sleep til noon the next day, if we can. We will start fishing then, and will troll for a while. We'll be out there until about 4 am Tuesday, when the boat will take the 12 hour ride back to the docks. <br><br>We are going out to the Canyons, hoping mainly for yellow fin's, mahi-mahi (Dolphin), shark, squid, big eye tuna, and swordfish/sailfish/marlin.<br><br>I am very excited, and I will not be here the 10-12 :D

    that sounds really fun. the biggest thing i've ever caught is a fresh water catfish :? but i loved fishing w/my dad, we haven't done it in about 10 years.<br><br>watch out for the marlin, i just last week watched on animal planet: a guy reeling in a marlin and it jumped onto the boat and impaled the inside of the guys mouth w/his bill.
    It's just life. You'll get over it.

    :lol: I am back. I didn't catch anything, but only 5 out of 24 people caught anything :? There were 7 people we brought, including us, a quarter of the boat, and we only caught 3 fish. I got video of all the fish we caught.<br><br>Also, 2 of the fish the people in our group caught, were... Marlin :mrgreen: They were beauftiful and put up a great fight, from what I saw. The other fish was a small, just legal, yellow-fin, which I just ate some of.<br><br>If anyone knows anything about video camera's, I need some help on how to get the footage onto my computer. <br><br>If I know you, and find out how to get the video on the computer, I will gladly show you, just PM me. :wink:
