Bannehs... *GIMP 2.4.5 [OPEN!]

Okay, well, I only have GIMP to work with. These are my steps: Cut out images from corbis (royalty free) and gather a background, etc, etc, and then add tezt with lunapic. I'm new to GIMP and do not know how to use the text on there... sad, huh? Lol. If you'd like to teach me a few tips and tricks, I welcome you! Lol. Anyway, that's how it goes. You either order a banner or not, that's also how it goes. Like them or don't, I sell them, and there is no need to critisize harshly... comments (GOOD ONES!) are always appreciated whether you've bought a banner or not. Thanks! I can use pictures of YOUR dog, cat, whatever pet, BUT. You need to supply the pictures (obvisouly). I won't do ANY banners with you or your friends on it: it's risky, and I'd hate to be the cause of an incident, okay? Good. Now, order away... if you'd like... lol. Forum Name: Player Name: Text & Background Color: Background (Swirls, Hearts, etc.): Text (Main- and sub-text+): Size? (Kennel Banner or Forum Banner?): Banners should be done within two days. If not, 25% off your asking price (I'll make you do the math, than I'll confirm it... lol) Oh, and I take almost any payment. VPC, Trainings, Breedings, etc. Alright... Great! Now that that's all over with... off to work I go!

how do you clear way the stuff that you dont want after you cut the picture out and how do you make it smaller? i just got gimp and i am so confused
