Breaking Dawn (WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS)

So yeah, I finished Breaking Dawn already. WARNING: THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS. DO NOT READ BEYOND THIS POINT IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED. It went the way I thought it would, them getting married and Jake surprising Bella by showing up at her wedding and stuff... Up until about page 125 or so, when Bella found out she was pregnant O.o I almost threw the book across the room right then... I was all like, "What the heck is that all about?!?!" Then I kept reading and it made more sense... The conversations between Jake, Seth, and Leah kept cracking me up, my sister thought I was going crazy because I kept laughing xD Then, when the Denalis (Tanya, Kate, Carmen, and Eleazar) showed up, I was impressed because Tanya was so nice... I thought she would act all mean and stuff to Bella. One question: am I the only one who though Renesmee was a weird name? O.o I thought the whole thing where she was saying how much she loved them before she was born, to Bella and Edward was sooooo sweet though xD The second time I almost threw the book across the room, was when Jake imprinted on Nessie... I was like, "WTF she's like 5 minutes old!!!" but I managed to get over it... Might sound weird, but Bella's reaction when she found out made me laugh xD When Jacob told Charlie about the supernatural world... I was shocked because I thought they wanted to keep that secret. The whole thing where Jake kept trying to get Rosalie with the blonde jokes made me laugh soooo hard... Because I've heard most of them before XD I actually started crying when Alice left

She's my favorite character and I was so sad! But when she came back, I was jumping up and down on my bed I was so excited XD Then when all Carlisle's friends started coming, I was amazed by how many came... I had no idea there were that many vampires willing to face the Volturi. I thought Bella's power was awesome, I had a feeling it would be something like there was a shield. And Renesmee's touchy-feely thing was awesome

I was excited to learn, finally, what the Denalis and the other vampire's looked like and what there powers were... By the way, how do you pronouce Siobhan? I couldn't figure it out. All in all, I thought it was amazing

Me being Jazz, I still couldn't figure out what the cover means O.o Anyone else have any thoughts?

xD I felt like throwing the book across the room too... and Renesmee Carlie Cullen is the weirdest name I've ever heard of. Weirder than Albus Severus. I thought the happily ever after was kind of cliche. They tucked her in and talked about the future. I didn't think Bella was gonna even get changed. But she was. I guess she made a good vampire, sorta. Made a better mother to Renesmee. And I'm glad she'll be immortal. xDDDDDD why do authors feel the need to name their main character's offspring with INCREDIBLY ODD NAMES

oh and I think the cover represented mebbe the Volturi as the pawn, and the cullens (specifically Bella), nomads, and others as the queen piece. I mean, they were more likely to win if it had come to a fight... why are all the covers so symbolic???

Haha. When I read the part of Bella finding out she's pregnant. I was like "No. NO." and wanted to rip the page out of the book. And as soon as Edward was like "We're getting that thing out of you" and the call to Rosalie, it was pretty obvious what was going to happen. (except for the whole, its killing me from the inside thing). The chapter titles in Book 2 (Jacob) were hilarious. lol. And his point of view kept my interest even though I was objecting to read the Jacob part. And YES, Renesmee is the weirdest name, Stephanie has ever thought up of. Okay I can understand that she put in older names for the older characters (vampies) because you know the vamps are hundreds of years old, so I get that their names would be less modern. But RENESMEE? Seriously. wtf. And that whole thing with Jacob imprinting on Nessie. I was as pissed as Bella was, when I read that part in Book 2. I was like, "WTF, No! Bella was willing to give up her life for Nessie while Jacob wanted to kill her. But as soon as Nessie was born he imprinted and took her away from Bella like that? NO!" And the ending. Yeah it felt a little boring cause of the lack of fighting and since the rest of the book was pretty packed. I expected a exciting ending and not such a happy one, cause everything ended up perfectly and I was like, that is too perfect.

Though, despite the horrible reviews on this book, I enjoyed it, with exceptions for parts of it. :P

I dunno what Stephenie was thinking when she named her Renesmee Carlie... why couldn't they have named her Elizabeth or something more normal?!

I know! I thought they should have named him Edward Anthony or something if it was a boy, and Elizabeth for a girl.

I knowww. Renesmee was maybe a result of a lack of muse? It would have been kinda sad if Nessie wasn't gonna be immortal I think she doesnt know the Volturi well. I come from a twilight AU RPG based around the volturi (set in the 1800s)- I play Alec- and I feel like there is so much more to them than she writes.

I wish there was more about the Volturi... the whole book was pretty much baby, baby, baby, then BAM! the Volturi are here. Also, where the heck were Alice and Esme the whole book? I didn't see either of them except for a couple times.

I thought, that they built a friendship through Renesmee? Cause even after her birth, Rosalie was still friendly towards Bella. I sort of wanted a recap of the conversation Bella and Rosalie had. You know just to see what Rosalie was feeling.

he was... so was Bella, and Charlie Bella was way too tolerant of the cars and the credit cards. The Bella we know would have put her foot down, correct? and Charlie would have NEVER laughed, he'd have tried to shoot Edward. Bella's EIGHTEEN ferchrissake

The cover: The pawn, the red peice, is the weakest peice in the game of chess. The queen is the second strongest, so basicly, when Bella was changed, she was trading in her old body (the red pawn), for the white queen. Also, the pawn is red because Bella was a target for non-vegitarian vampires

Rosalie was still being nice to Bell because it made Nessie happy... she doesn't care about Bella. OMG. I was reminded of my favorite moment in the whole book. It was in section 2 -they are talking about when Bella drinks the blood from the cup- Seth: They are vampires, I guess. I mean, it makes sense. And if it helps Bella, its a good thing, right? Seth: What? Leah: Mom dropped him a lot when he was a baby. Jake: On his head, apparently. Leah: He used to gnaw on the crib bars, too. Jake: Lead paint? Leah: Looks like it. Seth: Funny. Why don't you two shut up and sleep? Oh my gosh. Made me laugh so hard. I just found it funny for whatever reason.

Haha. I thought that part was funny too. Oh and you reminded me of this joke in the book. Also, in part 2 Something like, Jacob: I told you- Bella: You know "i told you so" has a brother, his name is "shut the hell up" If I'm the only one who enjoyed that joke...oh well.
