I have extremely thick hair I straighten it alot and its 2 inces below the shoulder any ideas for a back to school cut for thick thick hair? oh and I have some some side bangs

    I cut my hair about neck length, and layred it. It looks good on oval faces, and its grown out some.<br>I would suggest a bob, or a short haircut.

    I tried short hair 2 years ago and it didnot go well I have layers I just think I need more or something

    If you wear it mostly down, get it layered. I have longer, thick hair, and I have it layered and I can still put it in a ponytail and such if I choose to, but it's not boring when it's down. <br><br>Also, layering thins out the hair a bit, so it's especially handy for us thick-haired peeps 8)

    <span style="font-size:75">I use to have really really thick unruly hair that I could do nothing with. So I would get it thined, and it really helped. I straighten my hair almost everyday, the thinning and layers helps so much.<br><br>Try that, and if it doesnt work, maybe try going a little shorter.</span>

I have the thickest hair out of my family(My aunt used to then she had cancer) so its hard.<br><br>I would say many many layers and get it thinned.<br><br>Right now I have many layers and the layers are very long I get mine thinned about once a month in the spring, summer and some times fall. I dont in the winter cause my hair seems to be a little thinner then.

    I have thick hair, but not so thick its unruly. Mine is always straight, because I got a magic straight perm. I get my hair thinned every month, it helps a lot for me, it makes my whole hair feel lighter :] My hair is like.. stick straight and shoulderlength, with some red and gold highlights. Its base color is like -dark- brown, almost black. xD You should get your hair thinned, it'd help. xD
