Hey all you Twilight Fans-Solar Eclipse

On August 1st-the day before Breaking Dawn is released-there will be a Eclipse! Is that freaky or what?! It makes you wonder if Steph didnt plan this. Here is a quote from NASA's Eclipse Web Site: "On Friday, 2008 August 01, a total eclipse of the Sun is visible from within a narrow corridor that traverses half the Earth. The path of the Moon's umbral shadow begins in Canada and extends across northern Greenland, the Arctic, central Russia, Mongolia, and China. A partial eclipse is seen within the much broader path of the Moon's penumbral shadow, which includes northeastern North America, most of Europe and Asia." Now from what I understand, those of us in the United States will only see a partial eclipse. Or am I wrong? The wording of that statement is a little confusing to Secret. But still, extremely exciting!! Only 1 more day till Breaking Dawn

Aug01T.GIF</a> EDIT: Ive just read on some other sites that the Solar Eclipse will only be able to be seen from northern Canada and Greenland across the Arctic Ocean to Russia, Mongolia, and China. So, Im not sure whether us folk in the US will be able to see it or not. I guess we'll just have to keep a look out.

I might get up at like seven to see if I can see it. but if the US might not be able to see it, then I am probably one of the least ones. I live in AL. All the way at the bottom of the US map.

OMG 4 MORE DAYS My mom says she'll take me after my brother, sis, and her are all awake and have eaten breakfast, so I think I might "accidentally" set all the alarm clocks for 5:30 am so we can go sooner :DD

My mom and dad always get up and go out to eat breakfast on Saturdays, so like for the first time in forever, Im going with them. And we are going to go to Wally World and get my book so I can read it while they eat. haha! I shall fast for Breaking Dawn. Here is a convo that me and my mutti had: Nicky: I am going to lock myself in my room a- Mom: You dont have a lock on your door... Nicky: Fine, I am going to barricade myself in my room and not come out until I am done reading. Oh, and I'll keep a bottle of water by my side so I wont get dehydrated. And if any of you even attempt to disturb me, you will have a big, hard object throw at your head.

And while at Wally world I am going to get a money order so I can upgrade my sponsor account. Thank the Lord!!

Actually only 3 more days. And soon, two. :shock:
