Meet Anabelle...<br><img src="http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj182/muddypaws907/bunny004-1.jpg"; alt="http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj182/muddypaws907/bunny004-1.jpg"; class="bb-image" /><br><br>She's a 5 wk. old Red Satin. I had gotten her yesterday at the fair. Her mother is a 3-time state champion, and Anabelle will hopefully be shown as-well. Idk... We'll have to wait and see next year.<br>I was wondering though if anyone had experience with younger rabbits... Someone had told me that taking a rabbit away from it's mother at such a young age will cause it to have "mental problems" later on in life... Which I'm hoping that's not true.<br>Anabelle eats on her own, as-well as drinks. She's got an unlimited supply of Timothy Hay and Alfalfa Pellets... And water. XD But yeah... So hopefully someone can answer my question?

    Nope, it is fine to take rabbits away from the mother at 4 weeks or older. If the mother has temperment issues, it is better to take them away as early as you are able, without going before 4 weeks.<br><br>She's a beautiful rabbit by the way.

    Thankies. We've been trying to get as-much mental stimilation as-possible, by giving her TONS of toys to play with, and she as-well as Samantha get TONS of floor and outdoor time. Both are doing very well together, but sometimes Samantha gets dominant over Anabelle.
