Challenging Top Dogs

Well, I figure a lot of people won't like this idea, but, it's worth a shot. I know it'd probably take a bit of coding and maybe slow down the site But don't get too harsh if you disagree It is only a suggestion! Well, everyone knows about events But what if you challenge someone's dog? For example: You enter your dog in a herding event. Your dog gets second place You go to the page of the 1st place dog And there's a button that says "Challenge" You click on it, and then you can challenge your dogs Without having a bunch of other dogs interfering You'd have to put out a wager. Bleh, people probably don't understand, so, I'll use 2 random dogs I have. I have 2 dogs, Hb Royalty Honeyy Child Let's say, I put them in a dock jumping event And Honeyy Child beats HB Royalty So, I go to Honeyy Child's page And click the "Challenge" Button So, then HB Royalty and Honeyy Child can go against each other Without having other dogs beat them But of course, people wouldn't be allowed to challenge their own dogs, or any linked kennel dogs. But I'm sure people would get around that somehow Eh xD I doubt this will go over well lmao Just thought of it

Baha I figured people would get confused But basically, I was just saying That you should be able to challenge someone else's dog Without having to enter them in events So, it'd be a one-on-one thing

I think sits kinda neat. But -knew I was going to do a but right- =P if you look at the Top Dogs List they are really based on how many events you have entered. Like I have some awesome show dogs that have won twice as much money as those dogs. And have scored better in events. I just haven't evented them early as hell. So what I would like is a Top Dog list based on Money/Wins. Kinda like what Ahi does on the forum. But thats a whole nother suggestion. xD Also would be neat if there were top dogs in each catagory. Like Sporting/Herding/ect. ;]

I like this too. Because I have these dogs. And they're currently National level, and I've gotten them there by showing them exclusively in dock jumping, field retrieve, and flyball. I think that's a better accomplishment than showing them in every single event, no? I feel like the dogs that are National because they are good should get recognition over the dogs that are National because they are entered in everything...

Yeah, I knew the Top Dogs list had the events thing But, even though that's just by eventing, Maybe, we could have like, a board or something [like Challenges] and then people can post their dogs that they want to challenge and in what event And then other people can go through, find suitable matches, and BAM!
