I am singing in a local competition. I am excited, yet scared at the same time. The last time i entered, I was a finalist an I at least hope to have another plaque saying I am at least a finalist, if not, one that says I won would be great. . . If I win, I get four hours recording time, and get to sing at the W.C. Handy Fest. I think it would be a great honor. This is the last year i can enter because of my age. <br>Tips and luck appreciated.<br><br>I love you guys!<br>-soccer

I have won many singing competitions so far 4, and a little tip:<br><br>act like no one's there, like you are singing in your bedroom.<br><br>I can't sing infront of people very well, but if I close my eyes for almost the whole time and do that, I always win or some darn reason. O.O<br><br><br>good luck.

    I am still not sure which song i am going to do. If my dad lets me download three carrie Under wood songs, then I'll do those. In the try outs, I will probably do "Whenever you remember". If I make it to the finals, then I would do "I ain't in Checotah anymore," but they didn't have that in karaoke.<br><br>I'll keep you posted.

    i sang at a fair one time, just remember to smile and have funn... i was wayy nervous at first, but when i got up there, i looked at everyone who was smi ling.. it made me happy.. :) so i sang and babing!

    That is usually what happens with me too, Frap. I am <span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="font-weight:bold">so</span> nervous</span>, but when I get up there, I just sing and smile. I love it. <br><br>Thanks you guys!
