Injured Baby Bird
so yesterday my mom, brother and sister were going to the library (I was at home on here o.O) on there way the saw a little bird laying upside down in the rode, so my brother got out and the poor thing had been hit by a car, its wing was damaged and it was in a bit of shock. so they brought it home and put it in our birds old cage, we gave him some food and water (and he did eat which is a GREAT sign) we are nursing the little critter back to health and he is doing awesome! He's a little cutie too! he's prolly a sparrow we are thinking, just big enough to know how to fly but not know the danger of cars. so he is doing pretty good, hopping around, eating and drinking! yesterday we had him out in our pen with out injured chicken (he was still in his cage don't worry) and it started raining so lil ol me runs out and save the little thing and puts him in the basement, then I covered the cage with a sheet to keep him warm. I will update yall on any changes and let you know how he is doing <br><br><span style="font-size:75">please do not flame me, we are experienced in the care of injured birds and know what we are doing, we also have a wild animal license for taking care of injured animals, we are not taking it to the vet, because there is nothing they can do about it. he is not in a deadly situation, just in a lot of pain. I'm only posting this to let you guys know and because I like to share things with you guys</span>
