Agility/Rally/Anyting with AKC

Mk.. this is just an idea I know most of you guys won't support it but hey it's worth a shot :P Alright so as most of you guys know I do agility in AKC, and I was just thinking today that maybe we should try to have a meaning to competing dogs other then winning money and fame. Anyway I was thinking that maybe we should create titles for our dogs who compete in obedience, agility, herding, showmanship and conformation, and a few more events. I know in agility there are titles like Novice (the beginning level titles) are NA for Standard with the aframe and dog walk and everything and NAJ for Jumpers with weaves (jumps and weave poles). Then once you Qualify or have a clean run three times in novice you then move up to Open. Then you work on your OA and OAJ. Your OA is your standard agility open title which also requires 3 Qualifing runs or clean runs to get your OA. Same with Jumpers you need to get 3 qualifying runs in Novice to get your NAJ and 3 qualifying runs in open to get your OAJ. After open you then move up to Excellent A, and you work on your AX and AXJ.. you need 3 clean runs in Standard to get your AX and 3 clean runs in Jumpers with weaves to get your AXJ. After Excellent A you move up to Excellent B which is the highest level. Here you start working on the higher leveled titles. Anyway once your in Excellent B, you then start working on MACh (Master Agility Championship title) and MX and MXJ. To recieve your MX you need to Qualify (have a clean run) 10 times.. and same with your MXJ but just in Jumpers with weaves. While you're in Excellent B you earn MACh (master agility championship title) points, which are when you qualify or have a clean run for every second undertime you get a point, a time is set for almost every Standard and jumpers run. Standard run times are usually 60 seconds in AKC for Standard course time AKA SCT. In jumpers they are usually 40. So once you're in Excellent B you get your MACh points when you Qualify. Then to get your MACh you also need Double Qs meaning you Qualified in both Standard and Jumpers with weaves in the same day. To get your MACh you need 20 Double Qs and 750 Points. Yes, this would probably take up a lot of memory on the game but I think it'd be awesome to earn MAChs on our dogs I think it would be a lot better because it would then be so much more relistic, but it's not only for agility. You could do obedience and eventually get your CD and CDX or whatever the titles are for that :P. Anyway, if Nef would want me to organize it all so she wouldn't have to do the research I would be GLAD to do it. Anyone with me? If none of this makes since to you, feel free to PM me.

I think making a story would help :P kay so lets say I enter a dog in it's first show my 2 year old Border Collie on VP so I enter it in Standard and jumpers (not hosted by the same person doesn't have to be but could be) So anyway I enter my 2 year old BC in Novice standard, and Novice Jumpers, the dog runs clean in Novice jumpers and novice standard so then I have 1 out of my 3 Qualifying runs for my NA (novice Standard) and NAJ (novice jumpers with weaves) so then let's say I entered the 2 year old BC in Novice Standard again she DOES NOT qualfying meaning she had some type of fault. So then she Qualifies in Novice Jumpers with weaves. She would then have 2 out of her 3 qualifying runs she needs for her NAJ. Then I enter her in Jumpers and Standard both Novice still. She then Qualifies in Novice Standard but DOES NOT qualify in Novice jumpers. That would mean I have 2 out of my 3 qualifying runs for Jumpers with weaves and Standard. Then I enter the 2 year old BC in Jumpers and Standard again, she qualified in Jumpers and Standard so then that would mean she had 3 out of 3 qualifying runs for her title. So now the dog has her NA and NAJ. Then in the next show she was entered in open jumpers with weaves and open standard she Qualfied in both I entered her in another show for jumpers with weaves and standard and she qualfied in both and then I entered her in Jumpers with weaves and standard again she qualfies that would be her OA and OAJ. Then she's now in excellent A, so then I entered her in 3 shows in jumpers with weaves and standard and she Qualfies and gets her AX and AXJ. She then moves up into Excellent B. Now I have her in a show in Excellent B jumpers with weaves and Excellent B Standard. She runs in standard and has a time of 39 seconds, then if the standard course time (SCT) was 60 seconds she would then get 21 MACh points towards her MACh just in Standard and she also got one out of 10 MX qualfiying runs. Then I ran her in Jumpers with weaves and she Qualfies and her time was 25 seconds and the Standard course time was 40 seconds she would then get 15 MACh points and a MXJ Qualfiying run out of 10. That would also be considered a Double Q. She would've gotten 36 MACh points in one day and one double q. To get a MACh you need 20 Double Qs Meaning you Q twice in a day and 750 MACh points, you don't have to Double Q to get a MACh point you can just Qualify. I think it's a good idea but I don't think many people would care about it or even know what it's supposed to be for. Although it would be more realistic.

...I feel like my head's gonna explode, lmao. That sounded like a foreign language to me, but then again, I don't follow agility and whatnot in real life. ^^; But it sounds very confusing.

Yeah xD I wrote it in about 10 mintutes more would be explained about it :] I updated the post with a story =P and I agree Meeko but I think it would be very fun becaue you could still earn money and fame but titles too

I think it would be fun because then it would be all out more realistic, and people might want to compete their dogs more. Because if Meeko you had a Sheltie with a MACh (master agility championship title) and my sheltie had it's novice titles, what would you want if you were looking for a competition dog?

I'd want the MACh puppy :P

The title system they have now (junior - international) seems good enough to me, and easier to follow, personally ^^;

That makes sense. I think it'd be cool and it's kinda funny that you say that cause I just got another sheltie pup and I'm planing on competing her in agility (in real life)

Yes, but maybe making titles for that is what I am saying :P Like earn novice titles (junior) so on. international would be like a MACh 3.. or something because it's hard to get there =]] and Meeko yeah, I'd really love for this to be added we need SOMETHING new =/ it's driving me nuts xD and yeah I do agility :P
