so, im just wondering whats everyone favorite dog breeds are then ill make a list of the top 10 favored dogs so fill this out BREED- WHY?- TOP 10 1. German Shepherd/ Great Dane 2. heres mine( i like every breed, so picking one is heard, so i picked two:) ) SMALL BREED BREED- Shih Tzu WHY?- theyre not too small, not too big. to me theyre perfect. ive owned 3 in my life, and all of them were smart as an be. i guess theyre small dogs with big heart:D BIG BREED BREED-german shepherd WHY?-Sheps are extremely smart. I love the way they look when they stand. Theyre very loyal, and loving.

BREED- Papillon WHY?- They're adorable, loving, playful, cuddley, so full of personality...the perfect lapdogs. I'm sold. I'll never go very long without owning at least 1 Papillon. I own 2 currently, and used to own another (RIP Giggy)

I think I'll put in two! =D BIG BREED - Rottweiler WHY - - They are so loyal, protective over their family. I have had them since I was born, and I have never seen a bad bone in their body. They always show their love, even when they pass wind

. SMALL BREED - Pug WHY - I love their cute little faces, and the way they guard regarding of their size! Their hearts are so big for such a little body xD. <33

BREED- American Pit Bull Terrier WHY?- The APBT is an all around great breed! Very versitile. You can do anything from herding to dock jumping to weight pull with them! They have the BEST personality! And because they were specifically bred to be people friendly, they are one of the most outgoing, social breeds out there today! But, because of the bad press they have with their name, not many people know what a TRUE APBT is. Therefore, I felt sorry for these great dogs. One reason I wanted to get into this breed is to show everyone what magnificent dogs they are! I can garuntee you, if at all possible, I will always have at least one APBT in my household for the rest of my life.

Awesome thread!

I actually have a few different favorites... LOL! BREED- Doberman Pinscher WHY?- Because I just love everything about them. Very beautiful, loyal, and intelligent dogs. BREED- Saluki, Sloughi, Ibizan, and Pharaoh Hounds WHY? Very very pretty dogs. I love sighthounds and I just love these particular breeds to bits, lol. (although there's really no particular reason) XD BREED- Havanese WHY? Because I have one and he is truly the sweetest dog I've ever met. All others I have met of this breed have been just the same; very very sweet and affectionate dogs... they love people. BREED- Papillon WHY? Because I just do. =P LOL, I love their distinct look and personality. Very very cute. =3 It is very hard for me to choose, however, because I like all breeds. ^_^

My favorite breed would have to be the good, old fashioned mutt. They come in any combination of size, fur type, color, and temperament. Also, by not following any specific breed standard, their chances of inheriting some breed's natural tendency to develope certain diseases is much less. Go mutts!

BREED- Scottish Terrier WHY?- Because they are loveable, unique, dogs. However, than can be stubborn as heck. XD They are medium sized, so not too little and not too big (even though I like some big dogs). But they are so cute, it just brings me closer to them

Oh, and they don't shed as much as other dogs =P BREED- Borzoi WHY?- See, I told ya I like big dogs =o) They are just, beautiful. Nice, sleek long coats, with a big long snout and long body. Very, big. They are very calm, and not hyper like a Scottish Terrier usually is

But, that doesn't mean a Borzoi can't be hyper, but they usually aren't. My faves
